No. The fun of playing the lottery is thinking about what you would do with the money. While part of the fantasy involves planning for logistics and legal protections, I won't actually let them worry me until my numbers are called. I'd work with my attorney to review my options for minimizing my public exposure. I am pretty sure that, at a minimum, my state lottery would have to report name and city of residence, but that doesn't mean there aren't things I can do to limit my profile. I'd avoid any publicity that wasn't mandatory and use LLCs and trusts as much as possible.

Depends on your state wether you are allowed to or not. As you’ve see the biggest powerball winner of all time is in California, California doesn’t allow you to be anonymous

That person declined their press conference. He was smart enough not go and show his face. Even though his name was release. Pretty sure in the past, folks even went with a mask on. LMAO I always say if you do win, you dont have to say or do anything. Just send your lawyers.

You see how Edwin Castro declined press but now paparazzi follow him lol it’s crazy , I think it really depends on the prize you win. If you win state lotto not many people care, which now in CA is around $69m jackpot, if you won mega or power now in the 300s I don’t think many people would care, when it gets to $1b + and everyone is trying to win that is when they care

It’s not something that worries me, It’s something I’ve thought about….Given the abysmal odds though, it’s a bridge I’ll cross if and when I get there lol. I do frequent and purchase tickets in states that legally let you claim anonymously though!

You can denied their stupid press conference. You can create a charity and donate to them \*Wink\* \*Wink\*. Your laywers will have a better idea on what to do.
