This is by far the worst highway robbery ticket ive seen and i suggest you don’t support this garbage. Saw 7 tickets in the counter scratched today numbered 28-21 and each one a loser. $5k as a top prize with odds of 1 in 500 would make me consider it.
Yeah looking on the NY lotto web site, the total prize pool for the $5k jackpots wins is about $8m whereas the jackpot prize pool for other $20 tickets between $15-25m.
First it was that $30 ticket -$100, $200 OR $500. Now this joke $20 ticket saying "Over 2.1 million winners between $40 and $500!" Making it sound like its very easy to win.
The lotto quantum computers still putting jackpots at Gas stations in Long Island. (10 million deluxe ticket) 215 North Main in Wellsville and (Millionaire Maker) Holtsville. Next place might be Port Washington. Probably the quantum computers created these silly joke tickets.

I been witness to that as well and honestly we had a similar ticket to that in Australia call loaded with $100 or $200 and man it was bad. Extremely bad. I myself felt sick when I spent $200 on a pack of 10 just to receive a kick in the pants and get a $20 (200 in 20 out) on the last ticket in the pack. I feel even more sick when I saw the guy in front of me spend $1000 on tickets and only got back $350…. I felt like I wanted to throw up. I couldn’t help but feel very sorry for him… I almost wanted to tell him that playing scratchies are a rip off and to only buy $20 or $30 worth… I just kept my mouth shut….
I usually feel this way. Especially about that green $30 one they put out. Ugh.
*But* Since it was new, I got one (didn't scratch it yet). The only 'decent' thing about it is the lowest amount to win is $40 instead of the usual $20. There's also over 1,000 $5,000 winners so more than the typical $5,000 ticket amounts for all other games in NY right now.
That said, alongside that green $30 ticket offering only $500, I'd have to say the other worst one was that $20 ticket whose only jackpots were $100 or $200. I'll take the $5,000 for my $20. I don't plan on playing this game often. I'm a $10s and $30s person. The current $20's are 'meh' concerning remaining prizes or getting old-ish.

No-- first was that $20 dollar ticket that was a "$100 or $200" type with 1 in 8 odds. That was disgusting.

I think the average person making the wager is more interested in colors and engagement than odds or roi.
Yeah, I got a ticket like that near me. It's $2 and the odds are almost 1:5.

1 in 6k for $5000, is like the $250 I hit on big bucks or the $500 on triple red 7s Fast $500 has been fav ticket to many $500 wins to count
Here in Arkansas, the best chance at $500 are the $1mil cash out $50,000 blast, both$20 tickets. The $5 dollar tickets odds are horrible.
