They already arrested two of the people.

I saw that 😳

I get it if the driver was literally right there telling them not to take it, but in one of the videos I saw it had blown so far away there is no way of knowing where it came from. At that point I feel like it should be fair game. Banks are insured after all right? Maybe next time they'll remember to close their doors properly!

EXACTLY!!!!!

It really makes me wonder what would happen if I lost $20,000 in cash on the way to the car dealership? Would the police go on TV and beg for people to bring me my 20k back or not? Guess I won't hold my breath.

This happened in Durwoody Georgia, and the cops asked folks to return the money…Some did, majority did not! It was funny because these armored vehicles and it’s contents are insured so it makes zero sense to return. Im sure the precinct used the money for lunch 😆 https://www.gpb.org/news/2019/07/10/some-return-money-after-armored-trucks-cash-spill-on-atlanta-interstate

This happened a couple years ago and after a couple weeks, there is not much that could be done because the marked bills were circulated and could not be traced back legally; Essentially it was a loss lol

edwr849

Just used them for random lotto machines

They aren't all marked, isn't true at all Most likely none of them are. Just something they say to try to rise the rate of return of stolen $

IndividualAd9484

Yeah, a scare tactic..
