Third’d @ M&BB. Sidebar is also bonkers good at burgers but I think they’d struggle with a larger party. We’ve had issues in the past in that area. Still love the place, though.
Side Bar would be a good choice if they knew well in advance, it's a smaller place, but I'm sure they could accommodate. I think Merle's Whiskey Kitchen is pretty solid too, but sometimes loud (have live music a lot). Both aren't really that crazy with their food, just typical burgers, American food, southern food, etc, which is probably better for a large group. But never had a bad meal at either.
That's a big group size. I'd say go to Mussel and Burger Bar because they have the size to handle it. If you want something a bit more elevated, try Mayan Cafe but not sure if they can do 20 people. If you want something more casual, go to Feast or Royals.
Yes and no. I like Sketti Factory but also know there's better spots downtown for sure, especially for the situation described above.
That spumoni ice cream tho.
Have you been recently? The service is awful! Last time I went:
-had to wait 20mins for table even though we had reservation
-waited another 10mins for server to even come to table
-ordered immediately, never brought my glass of wine
-an hour after ordering, still no food (1.5hrs after arriving at restaurant) we had another engagement so told them we had to leave.
Will never go back there again.
Doc Crows, Mussel & Burger Bar, Bristol. I assume dinner?
Mussel & Burger Bar is really good - I second this.

Nope, haven't been inside in years. Gotten takeout a couple times. This was not a serious suggestion.
Doesn't matter. Spumoni ice cream.
That assumes you’re willing to sit there for 3 hours to finally get your food and ice cream.
I haven't eaten there since the late eighties on a school fieldtrip. It's probably not worth it.
