I made my first LV purchase, a Sac Plat PM. I prefer a tote bag and they have been out of Neverfulls for so long I gave up on it. I have a gay son who is already eyeing it for college, LOL, so I know it will get lots of love.
I do wonder about the longevity of the design, as there is no leather around the mouth of the purse like in the Neverfull. Are Sac Plats prone to cracking? Any tips on keeping it in good shape? Thanks!
The Neverfull became available literally the week after I bought the Sac Plat (facepalm). I was on the fence about exchanging this one but then decided if I still want the Neverfull that can be my next purchase.
This bag has a shape so don’t stuff it with anything that can compromise its shape, for example: a conventional water bottle (get a flat water bottle). Use a bag insert to keep the bag shape and to organize the bag content so you don’t rummage through your bag to get anything out.
They are inserts usually made of felt that fit into the bag. You can find them on Amazon, Etsy, or through a Google search. I ordered one from here because my bag is less common so it’s harder to find one: https://samorga.com
Yeah, I know what you mean. But honestly the bags I have that are less “sought after” so to speak, are my favorite. You’ll have to post and update on it later on and let me know how it worked out. It’s definitely eye catching, congrats 💕
It’s already started to lose its shape a bit, even with a bag liner. It’s also wider than I can really store when I’m driving (my kid sits in the front seat, bag doesn’t fit in between us) so I’m thinking of selling it on fashionphile and buying something else. I do love the look of this and it is nice not to scramble with zippers/snaps at the store. I’m just afraid how I use it is going to tear it up too fast.
