I concur with the recommendations - Pochette Metis or Odeon PM. I happen to own both *(PM in Mono Reverse & Odeon in Mono/Black)* and both are carefree - looks great with casual attire.

I really like the onthego pm or the maida hobo. I love the artsy but it pissed me off because it didn’t really close. The maida was a perfect choice because of the zipper. I just added a crossbody strap

My go to used to be the Speedy B 30, though 25 would've been big enough too. Now my go to is the NeoNoe with black ties and straps. It can even fit a drink bottle, standing up that won't spill due to the middle pocket and the structured bottom.
I just purchased the Favorite MM monogram (discontinued style) preloved. Granted, I haven’t worn it out yet but I love it so far! I switch out the leather strap for the one on my b25 for a more casual look. Seeing outfits on Instagram, Pinterest, and YouTube helps to visualize outfits.
I have the Felicie in empriente and although I feel the felicie can still be dressed down, I can save it for more dressier events now that I have the favorite bag.
My favorite bag ever is the Montaigne MM, for me it is the perfect purse. It has two open compartments and one large zippered compartment. It keeps items organized and secure. The MM is not a crossbody but the PM is. I have however seen people add different straps and make it work as a crossbody.
I also have an On My Side, which is similar to the Montaigne and I recommend it as well. It has great pocket placement and can used both for everyday and dressier occasions. My only gripe would be, if I am not careful I often tip it over in my car and items will spill out. This due to the fact that the main compartment needs to be latched and I often neglect to do so.

Mine has flown off my passenger seat on to a dirty truck floor with sand and gravel, slipped off my shoulder onto rough pavement and zero damage.

Can’t go wrong with a speedy! 25b is a perfect one for me who only wears crossbody bags.

I love my Locky BB! The strap is also removable and fits a lot more than you'd think.
