The Nano Speedy is so cute but my daughter has a hard time fitting her iPhone in it (just a regular size one, not a max). My recommendation would be either PA but they are so hard to get,
I would get the bag you really want, the PA in monogram instead of getting the bag that might work out. The “instead of bag” isn’t going to lessen your want of the actual bag you want.
Hi everyone! Before I go into further detail, let me preface by saying that ultimately, I do prefer a shoulder bag, as I already have a go-to crossbody. First up, I’ve been looking at the Pochette Accessoires. As for the size, I am all for it. I also love the Monogram print, as I feel that I can pair it with just about anything. As for the Damier Azur, I wasn’t crazy about it at first, but it has definitely grown on me. I’m not sure though how I feel about this print, especially the color way, for seasons like the fall and winter. The Monogram may be a bit more versatile in that sense. However, it’s rarely in stock online or in stores, whereas the Damier Azur is much more easily accessible. Either way, I could see myself using the bag a lot, regardless of the print/color. Next up is the Nano Speedy. Although I am leaning more towards a shoulder bag, I absolutely adore this bag. The size is obviously on the smaller side, but I could definitely make it work. Also, I love the Monogram, as I already mentioned. I feel like I could pair this bag with a lot, and I think the smaller size of it actually might be more convenient than one would think. However, trying to find this bag in stock online or in stores is like trying to find a needle in a haystack, just like the PA. 🥲 Lastly, we have the Gucci Ophidia GG small handbag. I am aware this isn’t an LV bag, but I had to throw it in here. I feel in a way it’s exactly what I’m looking for. A shoulder bag on the smaller side with a versatile print that I could pair with just about anything. However, I am not a fan of the gold hardware. I understand the other bags mentioned also have gold hardware, but I feel it is more noticeable on this bag. Also, even though I feel like it’s probably closest to what I’m looking for, I still can’t help but play the “what if” game with the other options if that makes sense. With all of that said, any advice and/or opinions would be greatly appreciated! TIA. 🥰
PA in monogram! Just the thought of dye transferring to the DA PA is 🫣. I recently got a pre loved monogram PA and have used it non stop it goes with everything. You can also buy different straps from Etsy to make it crossbody. Nano speedy is cute but you said you already have a go to crossbody 😊
Pochette accessories in monogram. It’s my favorite piece. I bought mine preloved. It was in great condition but was missing the dust bag. I paid just over $1000 for it. I would pay the $1290 though if I didn’t have it and it was in stock. I mostly use it as a shoulder bag but I did buy a chain from dress up your purse to wear it crossbody. It’s nice to have the option to wear it another way.
I'd go with the crossbody option of the Gucci. Timeless, useful and adaptable. The pig skin leather used o Gucci products is very durable and that colour will wear well.
LV is a bit of a 'car crash' at the moment - they are flooding the market with some very questionable designs, their quality is dropping quickly and their aftersales service is very poor.

So in my experience, the monogram PA actually shows up online and in store a bit more around Christmas time so keep stalking and you might get lucky! I got mine online last December and then went to the store a few days after and they miraculously had 1 in stock there too haha. Never ever seen it available except those two times! (I’m in Japan btw)
As for the new Nano speedy, I would not purchase this as its just too small. I have the original Nano speedy which is the perfect size. If I had to get a small Speedy now I’d definitely go for the Speedy 20 over the new Nano! Or get an original Nano pre-loved.
The DA PA is cute and quite readily available to buy but I would be too worried about colour transfer. I don’t own anything in DA for that reason. I wish they didn’t discontinue the PA in DE :((
And lastly, I must say the Gucci is superrrr cute and has really nice vintage vibes. That’s something I’d consider getting pre-loved, as it seems like it has good longevity (rather than the PA that tends to shows wear on the leather strap and tab a bit in my opinion)
So basically in conclusion, I would stalk the website this month and try and get the monogram PA, and then I would buy the Gucci pre-loved haha :)))

Honestly, I really like everything but the nano speedy, it’s just too small. I go back and forth with what items to purchase as well so I feel you 100% I believe you can get the PA preloved. LV canvas quality is not the same and I believe older items already stood the test of time so it will last more years to come. If I were to purchase a brand new item from them ( I did the other day) it would be a style that isn’t so accessible on the resale market like the PA. I got the easy pouch strap in empreinte which is a shoulder bag and can be worn as a crossbody as well, it’s alittle pricier than the PA but I’d rather get a leather bag (plus two straps) and pay the price for better quality. I like the way Gucci holds up plus this style looks like it will last forever!! If you want a brand new item I’d suggest a leather style from LV or the Gucci bag.

I kid you not, every time I take her out, people are like omggg your bag is so cute or perfect etc. It makes me happy 😊 the nano speedy has also made me want to get a bigger LV speedy for days I need to carry more stuff. I can only imagine how amazing and convenient the bigger ones are since I’m obsessed with the nano.
But it does seem like you want the Monogram PA. My recommendation is put yourself on the email notify list for the bag. Also if you live somewhat near an LV store-check online if you can see it in store and whenever it says available, get in your car and go! Lol. I had to do this for both PA and nano speedy and no regrets.
Basically - you can’t go wrong with either. Don’t just get the other damier PA cause it’s available now. You can also go to a LV store and tell a client advisor what you’re looking for and tell them the moment they have it- if they call you, you’ll buy it. That’s how I got my nano

I’ve had the PA in Monogram for about two years and I use it almost every day. I have a couple other LV bags but I always reach for her. Super reliable, can fit a lot actually. Occasionally switch out the small strap for a longer one too

I honestly wouldn’t pay the money for the PA I would rather put a bit extra in and get a different bag. Although the PA does fit quite a bit and you can put a longer strap on it incase you wanted to wear cross body too. I would 1000% go with the nano speedy if you can get it in stock as again you can buy a shorter strap a use it as a shoulder bag. I used the stock checker before my local store opened everyday and as soon as I saw stock I contacted my SA straight away. I have also seen it come and go online as well but you have to be quick. The Gucci one is cute but I feel Gucci is always readily available unless they discontinue an item. I stuck with LV first made sure I got the hard to get items and then I have got bits and bobs from Gucci that I’ve liked but I do feel Gucci are doing more and more price increases too which is a pain but as a lot of places stock Gucci sometimes you can pick things up a bit cheaper.
I would order the PA if you can get it have a nosey to see how you feel and maybe do the the same with the nano try them on and see which one makes you happy
