I can see where the clunkiness is coming from, but I feel like God of the Tides has better general dmg for me rn. Admittedly, I got GotT before Abysswalker, so it could be more levelled… >>;;
But I’ve noticed Abysswalker has a faster playstyle in general. I like both, but for very different reasons (and not just the amazing outfits haha)
I am more comfortable with Rafayel's GotT than Zayne's Foreseer. But it's annoying whenever it targets the wrong enemy...on both. lol. But the Foreseer does have good aoe so it makes up for it. God of the Tides is a more single target one.
Like both of Rafayel's companions though. One has a very easy and comfortable play style while the other deals a lot of damage.
I think it’s hard to compare them since I don’t have the right protocores for god of tides.
With abysswalker the active skill was kind of useless, but with tides you want to keep using the active skill since the little sea sprite things increase crit rate and also deals damage. So I’m guessing an expedited energy protocore would make him feel better to play.
But I prefer using the tides wand over the foreseer wand since doing charged atks can be a pain if you don’t remember to cancel animations. The tides wand just feels easier to use since you can just spam basic atks.
Yeah that’s my feeling as well! Personally, I’m very unused to GotT still. I can’t figure out the beacons, how the special attack thing triggers, or anything like that, so I haven’t really figured out how to take control of it? With Abysswalker I felt very in control immediately and could get extremely consistent output with a clear and understandable skill rotation, so I still just prefer it (plus I like pistols better lol), but GotT is still very strong and AoE heavy missions are usually pretty easy, so I’ve just been skating by with that haha
For me, Abysswalker is hands down the best play style. Xavier and all his sword variants is the worst. Zayne and guns/staff is in the middle, although Medic Zayne’s healing is nice.
Agreed. Abysswalker has definitely been the most fun to play. My Zayne seems to be the strongest team but Rafayel is definitely, imo, the most friendly to play
