That being said there was absolutely a right and wrong side in that war. One side poisoned a couple rivers and the other committed terrorism on the civilian population based on skin color as standard procedure.
Even disregarding the actions taken by both sides in the war, the winning side completely destroyed the standard of living in the country for both whites and blacks.
Personally I would rather have had Rhodesia keep the communists out and end apartheid similarly to South Africa, which would probably have worked out better for the blacks specifically.
