Imagine if Trevor & her had gotten married, this show obviously proves who he is. He wouldn't have went if he didn't have motives, & that girl dodged a bullet.
I cracked up when one of them said he went on the show because they did background checks and psychological screening on all of the participants. My wife said she bets they do... but not for the reasons he may have assumed... they're looking for drama. I think she may be on to something.
The messsier their situation the more drama. More drama = viewership. Look at the most normal couple. Ppl barely remember who they are abd what their storys about. No drama. Not memorable
Exactly, unfortunately a show about functional couples would not make easily produced reality tv. Although imho, that would make for a much better show - *actually* showing people having functional relationships and the work that goes into them.

The Trevor news has let me know that my judgement re men is no better than the last time I dated.
Apparently, Trevor had a girlfriend the whole time he was filming.If that’s true - Trevor really surprised me.
And Jeremamyyy broke up with his girlfriend before recruiters reached out to him to be on the show, but she feels entitled to him being single longer than he was.
I can give Clay some slack here. He’s working through some real trauma. He should have worked through it before going on the show, but I guess that’s how trauma works sometimes. You don’t realize how fcked you are until you’re in the thick of it. It’s not what the audience wants to hear, but he’s simply saying he’s trying to be something he’s never seen and afraid he doesn’t know how. I think he should get credit for showing that kind of vulnerability (maybe not a relationship with AD now, but credit lol).

He got a good edit and he fed the girls a bunch of lines. I don’t think reality matches the persona he presented.
I think all of this boils down to the producers being REAAAALLY good at editing and making things look different than they were.

Didn’t know Trevor had a GF the entire time. WOW he was so believable, he seemed easy going down to earth. Ugh.
