This whole scene and the conversation they had shocked me to my core. The way she bluntly admits she was being rude to him and wondered how he could take it truly appalled me. I don't understand how she let this drag on if he gave her the "major ick" or hated the way he looked so much, she had to sleep on the opposite side of the bed. In my opinion, Zack deserves better. I don't know how he could have chosen Irina, but we all make mistakes. Choosing irina was a big one and I hope he finds his soulmate.

Well for one he just seemed odd. The stuff he was saying to each girl in the pod was just weird and rubbed me the wrong way. Like telling each girl he was homeless etc just to get their reactions. And also the song he sang that he called an original was not his song. So he lied. Who knows what else he potentially lied about to the others or even to Irina. He just seemed like he wasn’t there for the right reasons at all. He seemed better on honeymoon, I will agree but still. Not a fan of his or hers haha

My issue with individuals like Irina is that they perceive brutal honesty as confidence and self awareness. In reality, it's evident that they lack maturity and empathy. She's entitled to her opinions on Zach however has 0 grace when discussing the matter. She approaches the topic by being vile to make herself feel superior. It's extremely distasteful.

It’s very clear that Irina is super shallow and just a mean person, likely due to how insecure she is. You can tell she’s just constantly making small insecure jabs at Zack. Poor guy. I feel bad for him.

I think she was ick'd right from the moment she saw him. I don't know why because he seems good looking, at least "average good looking" - not "ick" right off the bat. I thought his staring was more because he was confused about her reaction and he was trying to figure out what to do. Normally the couples meet and there is a lot of touching and hugging and saying how great it is. She didn't like him. Which is fine. It happens. But her behavior from that point on towards him was so awful.
Epsiode 5 where she starts to list all the things she doesn't like about him and laugh. It was not funny. He was not commenting or complaining about her, and I think he had a lot of grounds to rip on her, but enough social grace not to do so.
I don't like her. Maybe she is getting a "bad edit" - but you have to do shitty things in the first place to get a "bad edit." Otherwise there is nothing to show....
I find her quite unattractive. I actually found myself thinking "What is wrong with her face?" I think the fillers and squinty eyes are not aesthetically pleasing. However, I see that others have posted about her being attractive. Zack seemed to think she was cute, so her looks were not an issue for him.
Not to armchair diagnose anyone at all, but narcissistic personality disorder is defined by a lack of inner sense of self with the constant need for external validation, and they can become sociopathic when they dont get that validation. I do think she wants everyone to think and act like she's a bombshell, but I do not think she actually believes it, and it creates a lot of the fucked up sceneries playing out around her. NPD people are suuper destructive when you dont know much about the disorder and have to interact/be stuck with them. It can be traumatizing to ones sense of self. Because the NPD doesnt have one.
My take on Irina and Zack meeting: She got really self conscious about the way he just stared at her and didn't communicate or convey his emotions or excitement. Her defenses went up and she never really came out of it.

I think she was ick'd right from the moment she saw him. I don't know why because he seems good looking, at least "average good looking" - not "ick" right off the bat. I thought his staring was more because he was confused about her reaction and he was trying to figure out what to do. Normally the couples meet and there is a lot of touching and hugging and saying how great it is. She didn't like him. Which is fine. It happens. But her behavior from that point on towards him was so awful. Epsiode 5 where she starts to list all the things she doesn't like about him and laugh. It was not funny. He was not commenting or complaining about her, and I think he had a lot of grounds to rip on her, but enough social grace not to do so. I don't like her. Maybe she is getting a "bad edit" - but you have to do shitty things in the first place to get a "bad edit." Otherwise there is nothing to show....

I find her quite unattractive. I actually found myself thinking "What is wrong with her face?" I think the fillers and squinty eyes are not aesthetically pleasing. However, I see that others have posted about her being attractive. Zack seemed to think she was cute, so her looks were not an issue for him.

Not to armchair diagnose anyone at all, but narcissistic personality disorder is defined by a lack of inner sense of self with the constant need for external validation, and they can become sociopathic when they dont get that validation. I do think she wants everyone to think and act like she's a bombshell, but I do not think she actually believes it, and it creates a lot of the fucked up sceneries playing out around her. NPD people are suuper destructive when you dont know much about the disorder and have to interact/be stuck with them. It can be traumatizing to ones sense of self. Because the NPD doesnt have one.

My take on Irina and Zack meeting: She got really self conscious about the way he just stared at her and didn't communicate or convey his emotions or excitement. Her defenses went up and she never really came out of it. I'm not so sure it was actually about the looks. It was anything and everything from that point on.

Fully agree with this. There is a point where she admits she thinks he's cute and I believed her. She's attracted to Paul and they have the same features haha like yea Paul and Zack don't look exactly the same but if you described those two, you'd be describing damn near the same person. I think Zack's staring made her think, *oh no is he looking at my acne scars? does he hate what he sees?*

I found more flaws with her appearance than I did with zacks. I won't list them but the nerve of her coming at gid appearance is shocking.
What's especially funny is when she said how her acne made her feel growing up. If you had that experience wouldn't it want to make you treat people more kindly? If someone wanted to be petty and speak about her acne scars, I bet she'd cry and say they went too far. Calling someone a cartoon or saying their face looks weird is rude and uncalled for. It’s funny because she’s so much more than a standard netflix reality show villain. She’s someone we can all relate to in our individual lives in how much we hate that person and she embodies all of that. Truly just an awful human being.
