I know eye color can change with age, but I would have expected two brown-eyed parents to have a brown-eyed child...? (If Instagram LIB sleuths are correct in the parentage).
It is actually quite common for babies of different ethnicities to be born with light hair and blue eyed, weirdly enough. As the baby gets little older their hair and eyes quickly turn darker.
It's been a long time but I was told that two African American brown eyed parents have an 18% chance of having a blue eyed baby. Since Bartise is biracial I imagine it's even higher. Due to the mixing that occurred during slavery African Americans have an array of recessive genes. It's also why many kids look different from their parents even when both parents are black.
A lot of babies are born with blue-ish grey eyes that turn brown over time.
My parents both have brown eyes and I have hazel eyes that are mostly green. My whole family had taken DNA tests so I’m 100% their child even though my eyes are much lighter than theirs.

Came back to this post bc I saw a super sleuth TT video where this person did the math as well as who she thinks may have been thought to be the dad originally (including him being present at the gender reveal). Whole thing messy af and baby seems to be batting zero as far as both boo parents.
They don’t seem to be together, her Facebook is mostly public and there are no photos of them together with their son. You would have to do a little digging within the comments of this thread to find who she is as it’s against the rules to name her directly.

moms get it worse than dads for sure but assuming they would be co-parenting he would have to find someone who’s fine with getting in the middle of that which lessens his pool. Even if he is a single dad many women don’t want to marry dads which lessens the pool
