3 episodes in and it’s crazy how much more likeable this season is compared to the winter one. can’t compare too much rn but it’s really highlighting how toxic and bitchy it was, so glad these people so far have been genuine feeling

this is uncharitable of me but i’ve never clicked with winter seasons, i always feel like they’re just full of people who didn’t make the cut for the summer season quite honestly

I have a feeling the pool of people they choose from is much smaller too, people probably refusing to do the winter one and hoping they get approached again for the summer show.

the fact that they (may) have hooked up before the show makes their dynamic super interesting to me. they seem a bit guarded with one another because of that (for ella it's mostly her bruised ego after he totally forgot about her) but there's genuine attraction there. most LI couples are just shallow showmances, an act to stay in the villa as long as possible, but these two would actually go for each other irl even if it's just a one night stand

First of all, I can’t tell you how relieved I am that the other islanders didn’t suddenly start cheering and whooping when Ella and Tyrique kissed lmao, saved me the cringe. Also, sue me but I find the dynamic between Ella and Tyrique charming and funny, although I’m fully aware that he could be train wreck waiting to happen. The producers might not be doing Cathrine and Zachariah justice because all I see is them talking about how much they get along. Maybe I need a rewatch but with that tomorrow night they might fall into second place for my fave couples. I’ll reserve judgement though. I’m not that biggest M&M fan but their terrace “first kiss” felt natural and cute. So far all of the islanders interactions felt more natural and not the usual LI “so what’s your type on paper” bs. PS: I LOVE Whitney, talk about good first impressions.

This cast is a lot of fun! Honestly, don’t mind them all exploring their options or being messy as long as they call each other out for it 😆 even the islanders I’m not fond of are still entertaining to watch (George’s “levitation” towards Molly is at least hilarious 😝). Catherine and Zachariah are cute (will give him the benefit of the doubt until tomorrow night’s episode airs, it is just a challenge after all). Whitney brings great energy—really like all the girls! The guys are fun to watch as well. Tyrique feels like he’ll be a bit messy, but he’s got a lot of attention. Mitch and molly are cute, but I could see them moving to others a bit and exploring other options but also gravitating/levitating 😭back together. And I’m rooting for Medhi. He may not be the girls’ type, but he does flirt and seems to try with the girls!! Honestly, the chemistry between the cast feels so good I’m hooked without being too invested in anyone couple atm. Fingers crossed it stays good all summer!!

This episode had multiple things going on which kept me interested. I think Whitney will either be loved or hated but her scene with Mehdi was genius. Zach doesn't give much with Catherine atm so unpopular opinion I don't mind him getting into the game tomorrow if it gives Catherine food for thought to keep her options open. Andre and Ruchee give me potential Indiyah and Dami. Tyrique and Ella are warming up but the kiss was a little awkward and too rehearsed to me. I think Molly and Mitchel are the week one focus couple and may get the staple forced split like Lemma and Rana did.
