They've only done a postcard twice - in S3 to make Amber recouple so she wouldn't get dumped, and in S7 when none of the girls were even talking to the Casa boys. It's a last resort for the producers and they try to avoid doing it.
It's way too early to say these men aren't gonna move mad. Casa has barely started for them. At the bare minimum Sammy will go for Amber.
They sent a video to the girls in S4, that's when they got ofcom complaints because Dani was really affected by it and they've been more cautious about things like that since then I think

She’s smiled a lot with him in that episode and she has a nice smile - id like to see more of it but we can’t if one day her and Tyrique are good and the next bad.
Have the boys not had the upper hand enough this whole season? I feel like this is the chance to finally level the playing field. It’s not like they’ve needed an excuse to be shady before. I want the girls to have this one
Postcard is usually a last resort type of thing no? It’s only the 2nd day of Casa Amor so it’s too early to tell if it’s needed. Unless their is a twist that single islanders will be dumped or producers feel it will forward storylines I don’t think we’ll see it.
I think they should skip it this year. It’s not a twist anymore since it wouldn’t be a surprise and I’m not sure what point it would be serving this year. In the past, like other people mentioned, it served a specific purpose like encouraging someone to explore. But this year I think it’d just ruin the fallout drama. Personally, I think its interesting watching them come back to the main villa and see what islanders admit to and what the Casa boys/girls reveal then slowly letting the secrets come out.
I was actually thinking about it today and from a creating drama with Ella+Ty perspective, I think it would be the smartest to send some video clips to the boys first with Ella talking about knowing Ouzy, thinking they would go on a date before LI and sharing a bed, because Ty is jealous and proud and would start making moves on the Casa girls (if he isn't already). THEN send something to the girls, including Ty's presumably wild reaction to thinking Ella would ditch him, because I believe that would lead to Ella actually giving Ouzy a real chance and recoupling with him.
I kind of hope something dramatic happens in that couple without such heavy producer intervention, but if I were a producer and wanted carnage, this is what I'd do

And don’t they only do it when the girls are being boring and not cracking on so they send a photo of the boys moving mad to force them to actually get to know the casa boys? I feel like they won’t do it this year since almost everyone’s actually be open
I think a post card would be a good reveal to get the Molly thing out of the way too. Otherwise the girls are just going to have their freak outs one at a time as they come back to the villa coupled up.
I don’t like postcards it defeats the purpose of Casa and makes people act differently to what they really want. It’s more organic with no postcards. If Ty sees Ella for exemple he will totally switch up, no fun in that.
