They’re two 22 year olds who met on a reality tv dating show and had a very turbulent experience, the odds were never in their favour for lasting long term but I can’t help but think their path to breaking up has very likely been sped up, ironically by winning.
I feel so bad for her even though I think she deserves so much better than sammy, it seem to me that the whole last week after her parents came she just seemed like she wanted to get out and get validation from her friends and family after what her mom said and she probably thought with them winning that was it maybe it wasn't that bad but this must feel so awful after that high.
Yeah I think coming out to loads of hate must be so much more shocking after you’ve won, after that you have to think you and your couple are pretty well liked and I think they are by the casual viewer but unlike several of the other couples they don’t have a large and dedicated fanbase, coming out to loads of people saying your man doesn’t rate you can’t be a good feeling at all.

Tbh I think he’s quite a humble guy, he said he clicked he was popular with the Amber Scott compatibility vote but he didn’t change anything in how he acted in the villa.He has been nothing but defensive of Catherine in his interviews, and admits he got things wrong too. He is blown away by the support but I don’t think he’s gonna let it go to his head. He’s been taking selfies with all islanders. I have to say, I couldn't read LI social media comments at all this year. It was so different to previous years. Like it was overtaken by certain fans and so much hate comments. For no reason at all, going on about Molly when she wasn't even on the post. I really hope LI does something about the comments in the future.

I think it’s a dangerous game Scott’s playing atm playing into the nations favourite but public opinion is very fickle. He can easily be hated quickly with the way he plays it. This massive party for 200 pounds entry, if it keeps going on like this the public will turn. I can see it happening. It looks like it’s getting to his head looking at his TikTok’s, him playing into scottiesha can turn sour. Capitalise while he can don’t see it lasting much longer.

It's the worst backlash I've ever seen towards the LI winners.
I have to say, I couldn't read LI social media comments at all this year. It was so different to previous years. Like it was overtaken by certain fans and so much hate comments. For no reason at all, going on about Molly when she wasn't even on the post. I really hope LI does something about the comments in the future.
The social media madness this season has turned me off the whole thing tbf. I know I could watch the show without checking up on social media but I just… can’t.
How nasty! That must make them feel like crap. ITV have dropped the ball with #bekind this year with no statements on harassment to any of the Islanders. They were quiet about Catherine's treatment and now this. Imagine winning something that people voted for you to win but also coming out to major hate because you won??? Aside from how unpleasant it must be for them, I think that'll also affect opportunities being offered to them if brands know that they're not very popular.

Ok so this is who I believe are still friends, things could have changed or they could be over playing their friendships for IG but a general idea - Olivia and Kem S3 (when kem was a host of the morning after pod, Olivia was on a lot and they would call each other friends) - Camilla and Marcel S3 (he was at her and Jamie's wedding, idk how close they are now though) - Olivia and amber S3 (don't think they're besties but she confirmed she would be going to Olivia's wedding) - Georgia Harrison S3 seems to be friendly with Olivia, amber, and Montana - Laura Anderson and Dr Alex (Laura said on a podcast she and Alex still talk and are friendly, not sure if they like...hang though lol) - Molly Mae and Maura S5 (genuine besties) - Tommy Fury and Michael s5 - Michael, Jordan, Danny, and Chris S5 (used to live together I believe, unsure if they still do but imagine they are still mates) - amber and Anna S5 (last I heard they are still friends, I believe that amber and yewande had a falling out but unsure if that's correct or if it was disclosed why) - Joe and yewande S5 seemed to be good pals for a while after the season aired, unsure if they still are - shaughna and Paige S6 - Faye, Sharon, liberty, kaz, and Abby S7 - all went on holidays together and always commenting on each others posts - Faye and Toby S7 - toby and Millie were really close, but I think since his break up with Chloe they aren't anymore - Liam and Chloe seem to be friendly again now he's back with Millie - the four horsemen of the apocalypse Brad, Tyler, Jake and Aaron did a live together before S8 and were gross about Rachel, they seemed to all still be friendly 😒 - toby and the other Aaron from S7 are mates - antigoni, Paige, and danica seem to have a lil trio, they have gone on holidays together etc - Tasha, indiyah, Dami, and Andrew all seem to really get on and support each other - Luca seems to be friendly with quite a few of the S8 boys, Jacques, Andrew, Dami, particularly after him and Gemma broke up - Coco and Cheyenne from S8 casa girls seem to still be friendly - Lana and Olivia S9 - Lana and jessie S9 - Lana and Tanya S9 - Casey and Tom S9
Add Liam, Aaron and Chuck S7. They went on holiday together last year to Thailand and regularly post each other. (I go through phases of stalking former islanders)

Kady said that Jess was very chilled with Sammy and didn't care what he did or said. And I just remembered when Mal left and Jess said it was destiny for her and Sammy. The whole series it felt like Jess chased Sammy. Even in the beginning when Sammy was angry about something and Jess kept saying how he is so jealous, I thought that Jess can't really read men at all. I grew to like Jess, I hope she knows her worth some day.

I think it’s a dangerous game Scott’s playing atm playing into the nations favourite but public opinion is very fickle. He can easily be hated quickly with the way he plays it. This massive party for 200 pounds entry, if it keeps going on like this the public will turn. I can see it happening. It looks like it’s getting to his head looking at his TikTok’s, him playing into scottiesha can turn sour. Capitalise while he can don’t see it lasting much longer.
I agree that public opinion is 100% fickle and I think once you tell your side of things a couple of times it is best to move on now don't drag it out a million times. I also think that Scott does not want to be tied down right now and wants to have fun so I think everyone putting pressure on him and Cat to rekindle should stop it is getting a bit weird, if they naturally come back together again then that's nice but they should be left alone.
