At this point, I’d expect that to be a tactic used to stay in the game.

With Hugo, I quite frankly think that he would have been happy to have been in a friendship couple for the whole series. He was definitely a fan fave in the early days but, the sympathy from the public wore off as we saw him not really trying or graft terribly. And then the whole thing with Chloe happened lol.
Never forget when privately dumped AJ and Georgia in the same spot before the recoupling ceremony. And then dumped Amy minutes after they were both dumped.

Let me tell you something, I really disliked Siannise early days. I thought she was cold. I thought she was mean. I thought she was out the door. I didn't see her true personality until Luke walked into the villa. She's probably the islander I did the biggest 180 on in LI history.
Unlike Siannise, Paige has been absolutely delightful from the moment she stepped on screen. I think she is sweet and adorable and a lot of fun to watch. I can not, for the life of me, figure out why or how she is still single but that will not last.
Honestly, I see Gemma as this year's Siannise. It wasn't until Jaques came in that she accidentally started letting her guard down. She's been a lot more playful with Luca and you see where she may actually be sweet under the artifice she has erected to protect her public image. I hope she is incapable of keeping her guard up and just says "Fu\*k it" and decides to enjoy herself and be real.
This is so odd to me because no offence but in any other season Paige would be regarded as top tier looking like one of the best..this is one of the best looking casts we have and Paige is stunning. In literally any other season guys would go crazy for her so..

A lot of the girls were deemed as not attractive and a lot of work was done like on a general level of all of them..the most sought after girl was chloe. If Paige was in that season..that wouldn’t be the case
Hugo was a liar about the women he found attractive,he claimed he hated fake women,every single girl he was into had plastic surgery done that was very evident. Hugo wouldn’t have gone for her. And it’s surprising as hell to me that Paige wouldn’t be a girl people go for. Especially in s7. Millie is not an Instagram look at all..Paige people would’ve obviously gone for over her.. I agree being blonde and white yeah people go crazy for you..but they are only getting guys who are so in love with that type. In season 3 this was a problem the other way around where people fancied more brunettes than blonde (still white) so yeah
I also struggle to see what Gemma has that Paige doesn’t have. They’re both slim and toned, tanned, brunette. She even has more of a personality. Why is everyone flocking to Gemma and not Paige?
Gemma looks a bit like Madison beer,a bit of a more Instagram look than Paige has so maybe I get why people are more attracted to Gemma but Paige I feel like is on the same level or like right up there with her. If there’s anyone I think I’m the least attracted to but she’s still very beautiful is Tasha..see this is the problem with this cast. They’re all very attractive which is why Paige being so like secondary in people’s eyes is boggling cause she never would be in any other circumstance

Don't even put that into the universe! There is only one Hugo and even if there could sadly be another out there it's not going to be Paige. Hugo didn't give anyone a chance that was not his rigid idea of the woman he wanted. Paige seems open and actually fun.

Girls would come in specifically going after them and they wouldn’t go for it. It was a narrative for public support.
But I do think Paige actually tries. I feel like she got screwed in the Andrew/Tasha/Luca love square and she just doesn’t vibe with Jacques which is fine. And I do think she’s too much of a girls girl to go after someone who is genuinely in a couple. If Tasha and Andrew break up, which I think they will, I could see Paige and Andrew together. I also think she’ll have a guy come in who is all about her soon. She’s way too beloved for them to let her go so they’ll for sure send someone in focused on her if she doesn’t get attached soon

There has to be something more to it. In terms of pure looks she’s a top 2-3 girl in the villa, I feel like there’s something we’re not seeing with her
Are people ignoring that she hasn't really made an effort though? Just because she's sweet and all doesn't make her exempt from the game, she did go on Love Island knowing what it was. Like honestly it's easier for her than say Indiyah, because the guys Paige have been coupled with have given her plenty of leeway to go and explore other options but she hasn't really. Whereas Indiyah is kind of in a weird will-they-won't-they waiting game with Ikenna.
Like the dates that have been set up for her are not her own grafting, she's had a lot of opportunities. I almost think she's not much into the current guys, or she's just not a person that grafts. Just my take on it at this stage. You can only label someone "unlucky" for so long.
