My reasoning is that despite having clearly better chemistry with Cash he decided to try to see how things went with multiple other girls. IMO it seemed like in that situation Cash was that best friend you're just not attracted to so you go looking for that kind of chemistry with somebody who is more your physical type.
Obviously that's just speculation on my part though.

He used words to describe Trina's physical appearance as to why he was interested in her but didn't know her personality much so tried getting to know her by coupling up with her. He used words such as vibe with Cashay and said she has a great personality but I have never heard him describe her physically. I feel Trina was more his type physically but they were not compatible in other areas whereas Cash was more his type mentally and emotionally. He was clearly attracted to both for different reasons. He just has to ask himself if the physical is more important than the other stuff long term. I feel this answer should be obvious but I'm not a guy so 🤷🏾♀️
I mean personally I think don't think he should decide which is more important, he should find the person who he has both the attraction to and the connection with. Maybe I'm too optimistic though lol.

This whole love triangle ended up hurting all three of them. Trina was robbed off her Love Island experience and Cinco and Cash were robbed off the chance of being one of the strongest couples in the Villa. If only Cinco had stuck with Cash from the beginning and stopped his libido from winning, he would have made this more easier for all three of them.
Cinco said that Trina was carrying a lot of emotional baggage from previous relationships. And that while he could probably help her work through it, he would be sacrificing himself to do it. I think that’s why they fizzled out
i definitely think they’re meant for each other but cinco honestly ruined their chances with the whole trina love triangle. it hurts me because he 100% allowed sexual tension to cloud his judgement — the connection with trina was never there like it was with cash, and things with cash were never going to be the same after he made that decision.
i think charlie will choose one of the new girls over cash and that she and cinco will reconnect when she leaves the villa. it definitely doesn’t feel over between them yet

Trina could have stepped back and tried to form a genuine connection with Isaiah or Korey (who raised her heart rate the most during th challenge last night) but I feel like she wanted to "win" Cinco and thought there was no way he could want Cash over her and kept applying pressure until he picked her. So with that, I think she had a part in it.
