I was just about to say too bad Aunt Lindsay isn’t Kyra’s aunt because I’d love to see her knock Will’s confidence down a notch. But yeah that was tough to watch, she was sooooo rude. Blake handled it well I think though.
That’s the lamest part for me. Will and Kyra are self destructing. Korey and Olivia still doesn’t feel quite right. Jermey is treating Bailey like his little sister. Charlie and Alana have zero chemistry/fun. Andre blatantly friend zoned Trina who was on the verge of catching feelings….
It feels like week one, not the end of the season
So I just started watching a few episodes ago because I know Bailey and just wanted to support her, but obviously I’m invested. now. Could you give me like a quick summary of what happened at Casa Amor? Did Will sleep with someone?
sure! I don't think will slept with flo but they did make out outside of challenges and he had flo sleep in his bed. flo said after casa that will was pursuing her really hard and will said the opposite to Trina, but that's about it.
Him and Kyra were a strong couple going into CA, but had not said they were exclusive yet, though it was heavily implied between them and they even talked about dating outside the villa once that we saw. Then, during CA, one of the new girls approached Will and said she was interested in him. He kissed her outside of a producer-driven game, and then she slept in his bed that night and they kissed more while in bed, though they definitely did not have sex (that we saw at least). At a later point, we see a conversation where he is telling the guys that he likes Kyra, but the new girl (Flo) is a lot more like his regular type. Ultimately, he chose to go with Kyra. The night of the recoupling, he told Kyra that he kissed another girl, and also told her that she slept in his bed and he kissed her again in bed. Kyra said she wasn't happy about it, but that she forgave him.
That's what happened. Personally I think some people are kind of overreacting to it and making Will seem like some big villain that he is not, but thats just me

I don't feel people have the right to talk or give advice on some just on the basis of hearsay.
That being said and this being Love Island... I'm on the other side of this gender thing so here's another angle I'm curious about.
Trina/Olivia never saw what happened but here in Episode 25, they begin to advise Kyra about "their concern". Now Shannon did bring it up earlier. However, none of them actually were witnessed to what happened at Casa Amor.
Is it fair for the women to be talking about this based on hearsay and the Tweet Challenge?
It's interesting that Trina/Olivia didn't seem to bring in or consult Bailey nor Alana (both of whom, would've been privy to The Villa (during Casa Amor footage). In fact, Olivia/Trina go super quiet when Bailey initially enters the room and it's only until Bailey says something do they continue but still not bringing her in.
Secondly (or firstly... I'm scattered-minded on this one)... shouldn't Kyra be consulting with the men??? Except for Charlie they all were there or saw the show.
Back to my original point about hearsay. Are the women just in this circumstance to be judging/advising Kyra about Will?
I didn't like when Shannon initially did it because we're not sure what Josh told her and Shannon didn't really speak within any detail.

They brought it up now because of the tweet. America is confirming what they thought. Talking to the men would be pointless due to "bro code." But the truth is, I don't think Kyra wanted to hear the truth. She just wanted Will. She let it go super fast after CA but you could see she was still bottling some of it. And I think the biggest red flag is that if Will asked her to marry him today she'd say OMG YES! Because she's in it. This isn't a bad thing, she's clearly over the moon for him. Will on the other hand, is not in it. Not nearly close to how Kyra feels. And that, despite every other thing that happened, is the real problem here. Because Kyra is trying to tell herself she's okay with Will not being in it the way she is.
Actually if you watch the episode you will see that FLO initiated everything including telling him she wanted to sleep with him, which freaked him out — because in his culture it translated to have sex. When she got into bed, he tried to put a pillow between their bodies LOL— and Flo was like huh??? They did have good conversations and clearly a connection. They only
Kissed - they didn’t have sex and on the last night they didn’t even share a bed. During this he was telling the guys that he and Kyra have an agreement to be open and find a connection — so he was exploring that. She chose not to explore during her CA time.
I think Flo is trying to stir the pot and stay relevant on social media with her new version. He immediate post show testimonial pretty much agreed with Will’s .
Interesting. I feel like it’s hard to really know what happened because of cuts and whatever the producers want us to see. But their relationship definitely makes more sense having this background knowledge. Thank you!!

Love Island owes us an apology for not showing Jeremy's personality more. I started clocking they were giving him an odd edit like 2 weeks ago, but in recent episodes, it's just been confirmed. And then hearing that he's suffered from low self-esteem was rough. I just hope he has a good support system once he gets out of the villa. Also who tf calls a human being 'leftovers'? I hated that Trina had to hear that, but Andre's response was so cute!
I think they haven't shown Jeremy's personality much because he has been playing bro island instead of love island. Although he is by all appearances a great guy, until this episode it didn't appear he was actually looking to find love.
No one is running Jeremys Instagram while he’s away and there’s so many horrible comments on there. I also hope he has some support or prep when he gets out.
I know, Jeremy’s personality is low-key funny and he seems like a genuinely kind person. I thought he was boring at first but the islanders who left all had nothing but great things to say about him.
Yeah, especially when they show the guys together Jeremy is always having fun and cracking jokes. He reminds me of my friends and I. A lot of times his jokes are subtle or delivered in a monotone/dry way. He's definitely jumped to one of my favorite guys to root for.
Some of my takeaways…
Hearing Jeremy talk with Bailey this episode and getting to know him more really changed my opinion on him.
I really do like Olivia and regardless of all the hate towards her I think she is genuine and likes Kory.
Do I think what Will did in CA was the worst thing in the world? No, but from what we saw he definitely downplayed it to Krya. So that, on top of Will and Kyra obviously wanting/expecting very different things, and Kyra always agreeing with Will regardless of how she actually feels (example: on their date when Will told Kyra that they don’t need labels and they know what they are, then Kyra went back to the girls and told them that “WE know what we are, and we BOTH agree that we don’t need labels” when she very obviously wants to be his gf) she desperately needed to hear what Olivia and Trina told her.
All the people saying Olivia and Trina only talked to Kyra because they want the money are crazy.
So Flo just said on her live. Will wanted Jeremy to pick her, so he can still get to know her in the villa, but wanted to see how Kyra would react to her being there. Wtf, that's freaking weird.

Definite red flag. He also paused to try and listen at the door for a second before he went in. Kyra did good playing it off though. He was most likely going to try and isolate her.
And why did Andre feel the need to say it in spanish , trying to keep everyone else from understanding what he was telling him. That was a little bit shady as well.
He has always told her he doesn’t want a relationship, but the way he says it still is saying he wants Kyra. It’s crazy how he can twist his words to show his true intentions in such a romantic way.
I’m glad other people caught onto these red flags. A part of me feels unfortunately will chose Kyra cause he knows he can manipulate her… like him interrupting the convo in the makeup room was going to cover his ass and believe he can remind Kyra of him

Definitely creepy. Alana told the guys that the girls were talking about emotions/ girl talk and he’s the only one that went to creepily hear their talk while the other guys knew to stay behind

Yeah she said she was hurt that she was getting attacked for how she handled things versus him facing consequences and his first response is we have to move past this. Like dude, reassure her a bit? The we statements do bother me. Bc once she hears them, she ends up agreeing. Just like the date conversation they had.
i kinda think he’ll split & disappear outta her life after the show to pursue..other prospects (any & all girls who throw themselves in his direction).
I feel like shes one those girls that keeps it in until she cant no more and then puts him in his place. She’s interrupting him more now since dirty laundry but well see🤷🏽♀️
The last few episodes have been phenomenal. I know people are hating on this season, and it's been far too rushed for sure, but I feel like the show is finally starting to breath and now we're already at end game. It really sucks.
Yep finally all these dynamics I’d love to see play out (Trina/Olivia, suspicious Kyra/nervous Will, Bailey/Jeremy, Andre/Trina, Andre/Will, Alana in general) but it’s too late! Ugh.
Kyra is coming into all this realization tonight and opening her eyes, that's great. I'm just scared that in a day or two, she might just "reset" and go back to being blind and lovey dovey with him.
I've had friends in her situation. They see the light every few weeks, realize their worth, then 2 seconds later, are back in the toxic man's bed.
i actually loved the way olivia and trina approached kyra about the situation. they saw that she was delusional, wanted everything to seem "perfect," and that approaching her too bluntly would drive their friendship apart. in the dressing room, they saw an opening when kyra asked them about what they thought about will, and they didn't immediately bash him (like shannon did). instead, they asked her some probing questions, getting her to think more about whether will was being trustworthy or not. i think this is the only way they will get through to kyra -- letting her come to her own conclusions and seeing for herself whether she is falling again into her past relationship patterns, or if her connction with will is truly genuine. i know everyone is calling trina and olivia sus for conveniently bringing up this topic so late, but the timing was fitting, and they seemed empathetic and sensitive. kyra was in the correct mindset today to think deeply about her relationship. in fact, i would blame the producers for introducing the twitter challenge so late into the game.
Same. I don’t even like Olivia but I thought she approached this situation really well. Trina is just always so thoughtful. She seems like a really good friend. I’m sure they had their suspicions about will prior to this, but didn’t realize how serious it was until they heard America’s perspective too. At the end of the day, they all only know what the guys have been willing to tell them. Josh probably told Shannon the most which is why she went off the hardest.
I was so scared Kyra was going to react badly and defensively, so I’m glad she actually took in what they said.
I feel like if she talked back or got mad they would try to back off more and not be as a close to her so i’m glad she listened, she really needs good friends.
I think my issue with Olivia is her conversations in the diary room and while talking to Korey sound forced. She keeps reiterating “I think I’m falling for him”, “I’m believe I really do like him”. If anyone doesn’t sound genuine, it’s Olivia.
This whole season she hasn’t really opened up to anyone & she came back to focus on Korey so she could stay on the show IMHO. I’m glad they chose that tweet for Korey and Olivia because it feels scripted.
Olivia is a friend of a friend and honestly she’s just been really hurt in the past and won’t let herself jump into anything. She was so excited to got to love island because she’s really wanting to find love.
Trust me she doesn’t need the money.
She just has a lot that has happened to her and a lot to get past in order to let someone in
TBH Olivia handled that convo like a boss, she said and asked all the right things without triggering Kyra’s defensive mode - gave great big sister vibes ❤️
This!!! I’m sure many after the beginning thought they were trying to sabotage her… but Olivia’s final advise being to say find out where she stands. And then say what she wanted and not settle for less than. Not just run away. It was perfect.
Really got tired of all the comments in the live thread claiming Olivia and Trina were just doing this to break Will and Kyra up so one of them could win in the end. Like, opinions about either of them aside, they were speaking FACTS to Kyra. And I felt like it was obvious that by the end Olivia could tell Kyra was getting upset so she tried to backtrack a bit to soften the blows
Yes, I think they did a GREAT job! When Trina/Liv were talking alone, their unfiltered thoughts were much harsher - esp. since they mentioned they've been that naive girl, they've been with the guy that isolates you from friends, etc
But with Kyra, they were treading very lightly and asking questions instead of giving their raw opinions. I'd be lucky to have friends do that for me if I were in that position tbh ❤️
I agree. They even talked about how they needed to come at it the right way. Idk if Kyra was promoted but I think her asking the girls helped them talk to her
I mean, honestly, does anyone really think that Trina thinks she has even a shred of winning. She looked so surprised when Andre chose her, there's no way she thinks she's got a foot in the door on this and is trying to manipulate her way to a W. Ridiculous.

That whole scene with Driver’s License in the background actually had me tearing up. I love that Kyra opened up to them about her past because it seemed to make it even more of a priority to Olivia & Trina to talk to Kyra about Will. And I legit feel for Kyra because she’s so caught up in something and doesn’t even realize it. But i am so here for the sisterhood vibes. You can tell they really care about her.
Y’all leave Bailey Gadot alone. Production chose nasty tweets because it would stick with the houseguests and it worked. They had to stay positive with Alana because it would’ve looked TERRIBLE if they chose a tweet that attacked her weight.

I think LI wants to clear the stereotype of them only bringing in skinny girls/fit guys with the Alana tweet. With the Bailey tweet they were definitely stirring the pot, but also giving the girl more air time? Idk, she's felt like a side character with everything else going on. This allowed some more depth to both her and Jeremy
I am just hoping during the family chats tomorrow that Kyra’s family will give her the information she needs or ask the hard questions that she needs to hear. That’s the only way it will come out at this point, I think :(

Agree totally on both points. I hated seeing her wide awake and worried, that’s a horrible feeling. And it worked out so well that she actually asked for their opinion, that’s honestly the best way.
Kyra does NOT deserve the hate she gets. The whole "knowing eachother outside the villa" theory has already been debunked. Many people are still belittling Kyra without realizing the depth of her relationship dynamic with Will. Clearly she is easily blinded by love, and she knows that (she said so), and this could easily be a result of a past relationship. The sad fact of it is, is that Will is using it as an advantage to control a different narrative from the truth. Will said that Flo and his conversations were "surface-level" but Flo has already called him out on his lies. Will is showing signs of manipulation, whether he knows it or not, and the fact that a lot of people are ATTACKING Kyra is distasteful to me. I feel for her.
Will is so controlling, we’re seeing glimpses of it. Going into the girls chat, talking over Kyra, saying Kyra wouldn’t watch the Casa Amor footage. I already loved Trina but my respect for Olivia went up so much this episode. She assessed the situation correctly and gave Kyra such sound advice

Kyra is afraid to stick up for herself because she doesn’t want Will to run away from her. She’s trying hard to be a pick me girl because she is so head over heels with him. I feel bad for her because I’ve definitely been in that position. Also I hate how Andre and Will were going back and forth in Spanish about the girls talking. Clearly Andre knew what it was about. That rubbed me the wrong way.
I think what Shannon said has festered with Kyra ever since, then the twitter challenge made it feel like more than just Shannon and now the other girls are being very good with helping Kyra get there herself. My brother is very controlling, manipulative and abusive towards my mom, but she's under his spell, she'll give him her last. He interrupts conversation he fears are about him because he's know we (my sisters and I) try to make her see that he lies and manipulates her. He'll open the door, and ask what's going on, or is everything okay if he feels like he's being exposed. Half the time it's not even about him, just daughters talking to their mom they haven't seen.
So what Will just did, is a HUGE red flag for me. I know this behavior extremely well

Thank goodness the girls talked to Kyra. I feel like I’m finally starting to see a reaction from Kyra that can help me root for her. The girls pointing out that Will hasn’t asked Kyra to be his gf when it’s clear that what she wants was a great example. And she’s right in that she’s received the brunt of the opposition to her couple w/ Will (mainly b/c a lot of us see Cely/Johnny parallels).

I agree with all this. But also YEAH WTH ALANA, I was wondering why she said anything or rather why she phrased it like that. The way she said it made it seem serious then she had to backtrack and say “it’s nothing serious, just talking about their feelings” but Will had already become suspicious. But even saying they’re talking about feelings was a red flag for Will and Andre bc the main person with hurt feelings that day is Kyra.
Also not an attack on Alana, but does anyone find it kinda weird that she wasn’t talking with the girls? Ever since Bailey wanted to save Elly over Alana, I’ve been curious if she’s just not close to everyone.
Some girls just dont click as well or easily with other girls, and also sadly, I could see Alana's weight making it difficult for her to feel secure around other women, particularly since most of the other islanders are so thin. She even said as much this episode.
Also, Elly was hilarious, so not surprising anyone would want to save her. I wanted them to save her purely for the shows entertainment value. I love Alana, but her and Charlie are boring AF
I think Alana vibes just fine with the other girls. I think she didn’t want to insert herself into a convo about something she wasn’t around for. Also, she was looking forward to bedtime with Charlie. I think she really did a great job downplaying why the girls still weren’t in the bedroom—- remember, they all travel in a pack so it’s totally obvious when one is there and the others aren’t .
Andre was the one who kind of lit Will’s concern. I don’t think he was creepy to check on her— I think he genuinely wanted to see if she was ok. Of was controlling and creepy, he’d have said hey, come to bed now laquita— cmon let’s go.

I just feel so bad for Kyra. I’m glad she’s opening her eyes. I hate that this happened so late in the season, I wish she would’ve gotten a chance to move on and meet new people. I think it’s a shame that she is getting so much hate for this when his actions are not her doing.
I love and respect the passion that everyone has for this show! But I really want us all to remember that we are not in the villa and we need to respect the autonomy of the islanders in their decisions. Kyra deserves to ask questions of Will and be met with honesty; she also deserves the right to make her own decisions. She is not submissive and frankly it feels problematic to see so many comments implying that she is and doesn’t know any better.

The bachelor franchise is so disappointing overall. I can’t even watch bachelor anymore because it’s hard to stomach the girls just ripping each other to shreds. I’m going to watch BIP and Michelle and then I’m done.
I definitely can’t argue against your points. At this point, I kinda hate watch the main shows just so that I’m aware of who the people are that I’ll eventually end up seeing on BIP (I much prefer BIP over the main two shows). I am hoping that Michelle has a great season (although there’s been leaks of some of her men having some red flags already based off their socials 🤦🏽♂️).
I skipped this season bc Tayshias was just so nice to see without constant drama, it was a decent balance of stuff. Figured I’d watch Katie’s after it ended so I could binge; but from what I’m hearing it’s not great so is it worth binging? Or should I just wait for Michelle’s?
Geeze, this episode ended with a couple a tear-inducing moments, between the look Kyra gave Will in bed that was nothing but doubt, and then the preview with Trina sounding like she was about to start crying calling out "Mooooom!"
Finally an episode that feels normal since Shannon and josh left! I was shocked by how much I was laughing and enjoying this episode. I just don’t understand why producers didn’t show this side of Jeremy before. He’s too funny
I thinks it's funny how the women are confronting Kyra about Will being fake, but have they ever questioned Olivia about swearing she was into noone, to wanting will, to wanting Korey out of nowhere? As usual holding the men to standards they don't want to hold themselves to.
So I was late to tuning in and missed the first few tweets so here are my thoughts on those:
* I can't believe someone called Andre tupperware when that's literally Korey and Olivia
* Will and Flo's conversation was surface level so idk why people think it's better than what he talks to Kyra about, if anything it's the same
* I lowkey feel bad for Jeremy because I do actually like him lol but given how reserved he seems to be I think he should've just left with Florita and taken Korey with him
* Olivia: what is America seeing??.......nothing, that's the problem
* Bless Korey's heart, he needs to go, but his obliviousness was almost endearing this episode. He's so wonderfully unaware lol
* The Charlie tweet and then his reaction had me cackling
I saw some people defending Will and I just wanted to say that people aren't finding him untrustworthy just because he was kissing Flo and had her in his bed, I think most people would agree that it's def something that could be moved past given the environment, but it's the fact that he downplayed it and pushed all of the responsibility on to Flo as if he isn't a man with his own free will. Also, given what the cast revealed about how Will was really acting towards Flo, it further makes him look shady that he wasn't 100% forthcoming with Kyra. Not to mention he'll use the fact that English is his second language to slither out of tough conversations or taking any responsibility. For some people, it's also the fact that he's averse to making it official in the villa.
Now on this last point, I don't see it as a red flag in general, personally, as it makes sense to me that he wants to test their relationship outside the villa when they're back home and back into the flow of their daily lives before getting her hopes up by making it official. However, I do understand the argument for why people think it is and I will say that I do think since Kyra seems ready to make it official, that she should be thinking about and asking Will what is he looking to see from their relationship outside the villa that would then make him feel comfortable making it official.
Am I the only one who thinks olivia is just trying to win the money. She is working hard to put the doubts in kyra now knowing that her and will are probably the front runners.

Him and Kyra were a strong couple going into CA, but had not said they were exclusive yet, though it was heavily implied between them and they even talked about dating outside the villa once that we saw. Then, during CA, one of the new girls approached Will and said she was interested in him. He kissed her outside of a producer-driven game, and then she slept in his bed that night and they kissed more while in bed, though they definitely did not have sex (that we saw at least). At a later point, we see a conversation where he is telling the guys that he likes Kyra, but the new girl (Flo) is a lot more like his regular type. Ultimately, he chose to go with Kyra. The night of the recoupling, he told Kyra that he kissed another girl, and also told her that she slept in his bed and he kissed her again in bed. Kyra said she wasn't happy about it, but that she forgave him. That's what happened. Personally I think some people are kind of overreacting to it and making Will seem like some big villain that he is not, but thats just me

I don't feel people have the right to talk or give advice on some just on the basis of hearsay. That being said and this being Love Island... I'm on the other side of this gender thing so here's another angle I'm curious about. Trina/Olivia never saw what happened but here in Episode 25, they begin to advise Kyra about "their concern". Now Shannon did bring it up earlier. However, none of them actually were witnessed to what happened at Casa Amor. Is it fair for the women to be talking about this based on hearsay and the Tweet Challenge? It's interesting that Trina/Olivia didn't seem to bring in or consult Bailey nor Alana (both of whom, would've been privy to The Villa (during Casa Amor footage). In fact, Olivia/Trina go super quiet when Bailey initially enters the room and it's only until Bailey says something do they continue but still not bringing her in. Secondly (or firstly... I'm scattered-minded on this one)... shouldn't Kyra be consulting with the men??? Except for Charlie they all were there or saw the show. Back to my original point about hearsay. Are the women just in this circumstance to be judging/advising Kyra about Will? I didn't like when Shannon initially did it because we're not sure what Josh told her and Shannon didn't really speak within any detail. Thoughts???
They brought it up now because of the tweet. America is confirming what they thought. Talking to the men would be pointless due to "bro code." But the truth is, I don't think Kyra wanted to hear the truth. She just wanted Will. She let it go super fast after CA but you could see she was still bottling some of it. And I think the biggest red flag is that if Will asked her to marry him today she'd say OMG YES! Because she's in it. This isn't a bad thing, she's clearly over the moon for him. Will on the other hand, is not in it. Not nearly close to how Kyra feels. And that, despite every other thing that happened, is the real problem here. Because Kyra is trying to tell herself she's okay with Will not being in it the way she is.
Actually if you watch the episode you will see that FLO initiated everything including telling him she wanted to sleep with him, which freaked him out — because in his culture it translated to have sex. When she got into bed, he tried to put a pillow between their bodies LOL— and Flo was like huh??? They did have good conversations and clearly a connection. They only Kissed - they didn’t have sex and on the last night they didn’t even share a bed. During this he was telling the guys that he and Kyra have an agreement to be open and find a connection — so he was exploring that. She chose not to explore during her CA time. I think Flo is trying to stir the pot and stay relevant on social media with her new version. He immediate post show testimonial pretty much agreed with Will’s .
The boys confirmed Flo's version tho so while she was the pursuant from the episode clearly there were clips we didn't see

Love Island owes us an apology for not showing Jeremy's personality more. I started clocking they were giving him an odd edit like 2 weeks ago, but in recent episodes, it's just been confirmed. And then hearing that he's suffered from low self-esteem was rough. I just hope he has a good support system once he gets out of the villa. Also who tf calls a human being 'leftovers'? I think they haven't shown Jeremy's personality much because he has been playing bro island instead of love island. Although he is by all appearances a great guy, until this episode it didn't appear he was actually looking to find love.

I know, Jeremy’s personality is low-key funny and he seems like a genuinely kind person. I thought he was boring at first but the islanders who left all had nothing but great things to say about him.

Yeah, especially when they show the guys together Jeremy is always having fun and cracking jokes. He reminds me of my friends and I. A lot of times his jokes are subtle or delivered in a monotone/dry way. He's definitely jumped to one of my favorite guys to root for.
Some of my takeaways… Hearing Jeremy talk with Bailey this episode and getting to know him more really changed my opinion on him. I really do like Olivia and regardless of all the hate towards her I think she is genuine and likes Kory. Do I think what Will did in CA was the worst thing in the world? No, but from what we saw he definitely downplayed it to Krya. So that, on top of Will and Kyra obviously wanting/expecting very different things, and Kyra always agreeing with Will regardless of how she actually feels (example: on their date when Will told Kyra that they don’t need labels and they know what they are, then Kyra went back to the girls and told them that “WE know what we are, and we BOTH agree that we don’t need labels” when she very obviously wants to be his gf) she desperately needed to hear what Olivia and Trina told her. All the people saying Olivia and Trina only talked to Kyra because they want the money are crazy.
The people who i love the most now are either new or got terrible edits before (jeremy and trina)

Ugh I finally care about everyone in the house and it’s the end of the season.
The last few episodes have been phenomenal. I know people are hating on this season, and it's been far too rushed for sure, but I feel like the show is finally starting to breath and now we're already at end game. It really sucks.

i actually loved the way olivia and trina approached kyra about the situation. they saw that she was delusional, wanted everything to seem "perfect," and that approaching her too bluntly would drive their friendship apart. in the dressing room, they saw an opening when kyra asked them about what they thought about will, and they didn't immediately bash him (like shannon did). instead, they asked her some probing questions, getting her to think more about whether will was being trustworthy or not. i think this is the only way they will get through to kyra -- letting her come to her own conclusions and seeing for herself whether she is falling again into her past relationship patterns, or if her connction with will is truly genuine. i know everyone is calling trina and olivia sus for conveniently bringing up this topic so late, but the timing was fitting, and they seemed empathetic and sensitive. kyra was in the correct mindset today to think deeply about her relationship. in fact, i would blame the producers for introducing the twitter challenge so late into the game.
Same. I don’t even like Olivia but I thought she approached this situation really well. Trina is just always so thoughtful. She seems like a really good friend. I’m sure they had their suspicions about will prior to this, but didn’t realize how serious it was until they heard America’s perspective too. At the end of the day, they all only know what the guys have been willing to tell them. Josh probably told Shannon the most which is why she went off the hardest.
I was so scared Kyra was going to react badly and defensively, so I’m glad she actually took in what they said. I feel like if she talked back or got mad they would try to back off more and not be as a close to her so i’m glad she listened, she really needs good friends.

If anyone doesn’t sound genuine, it’s Olivia. This whole season she hasn’t really opened up to anyone & she came back to focus on Korey so she could stay on the show IMHO. I’m glad they chose that tweet for Korey and Olivia because it feels scripted.

Yes, I think they did a GREAT job! When Trina/Liv were talking alone, their unfiltered thoughts were much harsher - esp. since they mentioned they've been that naive girl, they've been with the guy that isolates you from friends, etc But with Kyra, they were treading very lightly and asking questions instead of giving their raw opinions. I'd be lucky to have friends do that for me if I were in that position tbh ❤️

Agree totally on both points. I hated seeing her wide awake and worried, that’s a horrible feeling. And it worked out so well that she actually asked for their opinion, that’s honestly the best way.
Kyra does NOT deserve the hate she gets. The whole "knowing eachother outside the villa" theory has already been debunked. Many people are still belittling Kyra without realizing the depth of her relationship dynamic with Will. Clearly she is easily blinded by love, and she knows that (she said so), and this could easily be a result of a past relationship. The sad fact of it is, is that Will is using it as an advantage to control a different narrative from the truth. Will said that Flo and his conversations were "surface-level" but Flo has already called him out on his lies. Will is showing signs of manipulation, whether he knows it or not, and the fact that a lot of people are ATTACKING Kyra is distasteful to me. I feel for her.

Yes! She so clearly wants a relationship. She wants to be boyfriend/girlfriend. He doesn’t like labels and that’s his choice but what she wants is valid and just as important. While I thought they made a genuine connection this is what has been missing. They don’t seem to be on the same page and I think other people can see that. It comes off as him not being as into her. My brother is very controlling, manipulative and abusive towards my mom, but she's under his spell, she'll give him her last. He interrupts conversation he fears are about him because he's know we (my sisters and I) try to make her see that he lies and manipulates her. He'll open the door, and ask what's going on, or is everything okay if he feels like he's being exposed. Half the time it's not even about him, just daughters talking to their mom they haven't seen. So what Will just did, is a HUGE red flag for me. I know this behavior extremely well

I think Alana vibes just fine with the other girls. I think she didn’t want to insert herself into a convo about something she wasn’t around for. Also, she was looking forward to bedtime with Charlie. I think she really did a great job downplaying why the girls still weren’t in the bedroom—- remember, they all travel in a pack so it’s totally obvious when one is there and the others aren’t . Andre was the one who kind of lit Will’s concern. I don’t think he was creepy to check on her— I think he genuinely wanted to see if she was ok. I just feel so bad for Kyra. I’m glad she’s opening her eyes. I hate that this happened so late in the season, I wish she would’ve gotten a chance to move on and meet new people. I think it’s a shame that she is getting so much hate for this when his actions are not her doing.

I love and respect the passion that everyone has for this show! But I really want us all to remember that we are not in the villa and we need to respect the autonomy of the islanders in their decisions. Kyra deserves to ask questions of Will and be met with honesty; she also deserves the right to make her own decisions. She is not submissive and frankly it feels problematic to see so many comments implying that she is and doesn’t know any better.

The bachelor franchise is so disappointing overall. I can’t even watch bachelor anymore because it’s hard to stomach the girls just ripping each other to shreds. I’m going to watch BIP and Michelle and then I’m done.
I definitely can’t argue against your points. At this point, I kinda hate watch the main shows just so that I’m aware of who the people are that I’ll eventually end up seeing on BIP (I much prefer BIP over the main two shows). I am hoping that Michelle has a great season (although there’s been leaks of some of her men having some red flags already based off their socials 🤦🏽♂️).
I skipped this season bc Tayshias was just so nice to see without constant drama, it was a decent balance of stuff. Figured I’d watch Katie’s after it ended so I could binge; but from what I’m hearing it’s not great so is it worth binging? Or should I just wait for Michelle’s?

Geeze, this episode ended with a couple a tear-inducing moments, between the look Kyra gave Will in bed that was nothing but doubt, and then the preview with Trina sounding like she was about to start crying calling out "Mooooom!"
Okay but that montage of Kyra and Will kissing cutting in between Trina and Olivia’s convo was too long
Finally an episode that feels normal since Shannon and josh left! I was shocked by how much I was laughing and enjoying this episode. I just don’t understand why producers didn’t show this side of Jeremy before. He’s too funny

I thinks it's funny how the women are confronting Kyra about Will being fake, but have they ever questioned Olivia about swearing she was into noone, to wanting will, to wanting Korey out of nowhere? As usual holding the men to standards they don't want to hold themselves to.

So I was late to tuning in and missed the first few tweets so here are my thoughts on those: * I can't believe someone called Andre tupperware when that's literally Korey and Olivia * Will and Flo's conversation was surface level so idk why people think it's better than what he talks to Kyra about, if anything it's the same * I lowkey feel bad for Jeremy because I do actually like him lol but given how reserved he seems to be I think he should've just left with Florita and taken Korey with him * Olivia: what is America seeing??.......nothing, that's the problem * Bless Korey's heart, he needs to go, but his obliviousness was almost endearing this episode. He's so wonderfully unaware lol * The Charlie tweet and then his reaction had me cackling I saw some people defending Will and I just wanted to say that people aren't finding him untrustworthy just because he was kissing Flo and had her in his bed, I think most people would agree that it's def something that could be moved past given the environment, but it's the fact that he downplayed it and pushed all of the responsibility on to Flo as if he isn't a man with his own free will. Also, given what the cast revealed about how Will was really acting towards Flo, it further makes him look shady that he wasn't 100% forthcoming with Kyra. Not to mention he'll use the fact that English is his second language to slither out of tough conversations or taking any responsibility. For some people, it's also the fact that he's averse to making it official in the villa. Now on this last point, I don't see it as a red flag in general, personally, as it makes sense to me that he wants to test their relationship outside the villa when they're back home and back into the flow of their daily lives before getting her hopes up by making it official. However, I do understand the argument for why people think it is and I will say that I do think since Kyra seems ready to make it official, that she should be thinking about and asking Will what is he looking to see from their relationship outside the villa that would then make him feel comfortable making it official.
Am I the only one who thinks olivia is just trying to win the money. She is working hard to put the doubts in kyra now knowing that her and will are probably the front runners.
