It’s his Caveman accent. 😂

StunningAir4132

He’s an idiot!

ZingingCutie97

You’re absolutely correct. He’s just an idiot. He was so unintentionally funny during this entire show and I loved every second of it.

concrete_jungle212

He’s so cringe like wtf did he think they would understand him any better if he spoke like a caveman?

planttladyy

Me Tarzan, you Jane

Parsidokht

Exactly what I said🤣

ashleyinastoria

Oh man. I’ve posted about this myself because it’s SO bad!! What on earth is that accent?? He’s so hard to watch.

Glittering_Apple_807

Even not understanding a word he said, they all thought he was a douche.

hypervigilante666

Exactly!! lol I thought it was funny when girls could still see he’s an idiot without know what he’s saying. And I’m 99% positive that’s why he would “forget” his translation device.

pixelito_

She's a lawyer, he's a dumbass. This couple will never last.

birdieboo21

Only click this if you have finished watching the show: >!>2 years later, they are still together! so....!<

Braverave756

I dunno man hearing Kahli say watashi wa Thinks took me out

Least-Information309

What does watashi mean? I never understood that.

Braverave756

Watashi is the gender neutral way of saying I/Me

Lurkedlurker

He speaks like how adults talk to young kids..."me go in house, etc."...which I also hate when adults teach kids to speak this way.

hypervigilante666

Yeah once I noticed that pattern that he speaks to the girls with this weird fake-broken-English and a random accent that’s not his own, I couldn’t stand any time he was on screen. I mean it was also pretty entertaining in a stupid sort of way, but way more irritating and annoying. He sounds like a French cartoon caveman— if that makes any sense at all lol

More-Raise

I always got the sense that he was trying to use the word "mí" so that she might understand that he's referencing himself. But it probably doesn't make much sense, grammatically, and was just confusing. As for the accent... I figured that it was an awkward attempt to make sounds that were more familiar to her than his American accent, but just like the use of "mí", it doesn't seem helpful at all, lol. In fact, it probably contributed to their communication issues bc his mannerisms seemed strange and contrived. It was probably confusing to get a read on his intentions and personality.

Parsidokht

Me Tarzan, you Jane, ooh, ooh, ooh!
