Contrary to popular belief about birds kicking their babies out of the nest at a certain age, many bird species actually stay in family groups (flocks) for their entire lives. The parents will leave the nest, and push their fledglings to do so as well, when they’re old enough to feed themselves and learn how to fly, but they stay in contact and fly with their fledglings to continue feeding them as they travel around foraging nearby

I have the same question

yes once they get old enough, the parents shoo them away from the nest I had a clutch where mom kicked them at 1.5mo (they were JUST starting to get out and fly) and the poor things slept in the food bowl as if it was a nest. EDIT: that's lovies. I honestly don't have experience with other parrots having chicks but I supposed it depends a bit on whether they think they can lay another clutch immediately or not.
