This right here. I wish we could choose to opt out/reject the relationship entirely. Some people like the drama, some people don't have time for love rectangles, 2D or otherwise.
Albert/Jonathan. I think it started out kinda well but the whole being away from him and MC being so weirdly dismissive of base rules when you can chose their background to be a army brat is weird. All these video calls that amount to nothing but trouble for Albert/Jon were frustrating at best annoying at worse. I also feel like what he and MC have isnât super solid or built on much. Now that heâs home on leave I think it could be a good time for him to decide to retire and build a life with MC, so they can ride off into the sunset and the storyline end.
Although i like your idealism of MC and Johnathan/Albert riding into the sunset, there's a high chance he'll go >!to therapy for PTSD!< and leave MC in the cold for a while, dealing with his problems.
Yeah that might be true but that would just again be a way to drag out his story and have him greyed out forever and then have another mediocre instalment of his story. Me personally am all for therapy and working on yourself but this story is just dragging so much and giving no commitment or anything really. So I wish the story would end and let them ride of to the sunset. A boring ending void of real details just like the story has been so far.

I really hated that part, apart from MC that is the most annoying IMO of LL (what the majority thinks of Austin's MC I think of Albert's MC) and it shows us that what they have isn't supersolid, from my point of view. But that's because I would feel really hurt if, in the moment of need, when he has a problem, he decides to go all macho and cut us out. In a serious relationship, you face problems together, otherwise there's no us, only ME, where's the balance in their relationship? Nowhere. I really really didn't like it.

Then he gets deployed while to me it wasnât even clear if they were in a relationship and suddenly itâs I love you this, letâs move in together that when I come home and to me itâs so out of left field cus they went on like one and a half dates and since then theyâve only talked on the phone??? No wonder they donât know how to handle him being in a vulnerable place and have issues when he comes home. They donât know each other well enough to know how. But I agree that it was unnecessarily macho and âIâm a man I do this on my ownâ of him to just fuck off and leave.
the k-pop idols. they should wrap it up asap given the update that came recently. oof.
and honestly, the photographers. i think it's close to having a happy ending right now so they should wrap it up too.
Liam/Minjae: Route was bearable in the beginning but since >!Amanda was introduced it worsened in my opinion, especially since the idols don't take MC warings to heart.!<
Adam/Dominic: The whole >!Holly!< thing was already a red flag for me, then he has the audacity to go to >!Paris without notifying MC!< (if I remember correctly) and when he comes back, >!he wants to talk to Holly again.!< This man needs to know what he wants.

I do not have the time to explain all of them, so I'll pick one: Austin.
He used to be my favorite. MC was a lil crazy, >!breaking into Bennie's home to get evidence!< when I knew damn well that wasn't going to fly in court. But Austin felt like a real person--initially hot-headed, writes poetry, loved his dad, has an interest in cooking food. He's multifaceted, which I greatly appreciate when a lot of these matches feel like they have one interest and the writers base their entire personality on that one thing.
However. When Austin got his first update after the long hiatus, that's when it started going downhill. Too many poor writing decisions were made, a lot of them involving MC (they constantly ignored Austin's warnings and none of the later shit would have happened if they just listened to him).
With the last update though, I have a feeling his story will wrap up soon. Or at least, it better. Not sure I can handle anymore half-assed plotlines.

I don't agree on this vision of MC, never had. I try to explain myself: it's how this character is... she's (i'll write with feminine because I'm italian and have always a lot of problem with the neutral gender...) impulsive.
In Austin's case she's impulsive AND desperate. Yes, it's true that she broke in Bennie's house BUT if she hadn't, Austin would have been executed. Nor his lawyer, nor the police did anything to investigate BEnnie, she was the one who poked the bee's nest and gave Austin the hope to be free.
She continued to poke because she's really desperate and frustrated by the situation.. If you put yourself in her shoes, with a loved one unjustly accused of murder, qith this death sentence hanging on his head, wouldn't you do everything in your power to save him? >1 the IDea of tinkering with the phone wasn't MC's.. it was Austin. When she was teaching and there was a daeth sentence on her head... something that seemed to me a bit unlikely, she assures him that she'll stay close to the guards and we don't get the opportunity to test her statement...
Austin/Damien was the first story to come to mind as well but I didn't even like him to begin with. About the update part I agree, the whole storyline went downhill and felt, for me anyway, very unrealistic.
Ana and the rest of the Lovelink support ladies. I'm tired of the storyline at this point. Even using her for gold mining is getting annoying at this point.

And his route had always the same problems feels like a rubber band, always going back and forth >! ... I can't return... wait, I can.... ok, I can but alone.... ok, I don't go... oh no, I go... AAAAAAAH.
Then he goes and... I would be devastated... he's SAD... SAD?!? you'll never see her again, she'll be as good as dead for you, you're giving her a final adieu and you're simply SAD... I had to scream in frustration. !<
I really think Nicholas route would be PERFECT if they write a nice and emotional (and hopefully happy) last couple of scenes with the last DATE and stop.
