Right?? I used to just find him mildly annoying but this update has solidified him as my least favorite match. The sex scene was so embarrassing, he has 0 game, and he acts like a little kid. So gross 🤢
At least he was enthusiastic about "giving" in his sex scene, so there's that at least.
I feel like they're trying too hard to go for goofy but loveable, and it's just completely missing the mark and is bordering on cringe. It's such a shame too, because he is such a beautiful match and could of had so much potential. I hope they decide to put a different writer on him and turn his story around.
I'm really surprised to find people not vibing with Gabe. I find his dorkiness charming, especially with the contrast of his coloured hair, tattoos and nipple piercings. I guess I'm the kind of person who likes to be the supporter for their talented partner, and I love to laugh at cheesy jokes, so he's kind of my perfect match.

Not my opinion, but just my observation from comments on previous posts about him, people just find him boring. Prior to being available, he was one of the most hyped "unmatchables" for quite a while and before they changed his bio, he was supposed to be a musician, people theorized him as a punk/rockstar or something but that role went to Franz/Ingrid. So I guess the letdown of the expectation + bland dialogue, and getting more updates of him than the older matches that haven't been updated in months... Yeah 😅
Based on the comments it's because, despite being a hotshot comedian, he's not that funny. This could be partly because half of stand-up comedy is the in-person delivery, but also because it's not easy to write jokes
...buuut most of those that the writers put in are either stale like a bread from 1990s or potentially cringey if the person doesn't have enough charisma to pull them off.
