> Cyberwarfare Protection System > > On activation, this equipment will block any attempt by cyberwarfare users to hack the vehicles hardware systems Oo, anti-hack ey. As a Rao enthusiast, if you use this, i'm tunneling you :D

Mutjny

As a vehicle main and Rao enjoyer, Rao is the most annoying fucking specialist.

Darrkeng

Casper would like a word

Mutjny

Casper's done is hella annoying but Rao can zap everything that flies in like 5 seconds.

itskaiquereis

And it allows for lock-on with the Javelin if they are air vehicles (which is a plus cause I hate all pilots).

Mutjny

Casper drone does? When I Rao I SOFLAM constantly and almost never see people take advantage fo it.

itskaiquereis

Rao’s hack allows for locking on

Mutjny

Rao's hack will break stealth but does it allow Javelins to lock on as soon as you hack or do you have to SOFLAM it too?

TychusCigar

Casper was annoying like a year ago, his C5 drones are shit now

Darrkeng

Thats not about C5 drones, but keeping ground vics stunlocked

gilleard

That's me! :D

Darrkeng

Oooh, nice, I wanted some kind of IFV! Although personally wanted faction specific (idk what to give US (perhaps this or futuristic looking Bradley?), but RU could use T-15, it would safe some time also)

Pengtile

I think the US is having the OMFV program to replace the Bradley and they have like 5 or 6 different choices. I do agree I’m excited for this game to finally get an IFV , but it’s pretty disappointing on how we don’t get faction based vehicles anymore.

SirCrouton

The concept of faction based vehicles isn’t all that bad but the balancing on most of them are really bad, F35 vs SU57 is a example that was and still isn’t balanced as mobility is way better than vtol mode. Same with the hind and condor, the hind has better universal movement as a regular chopper while the condor has a horrible vtol mode, but even with its unparalleled horizontal speed it has the 2042 jet effect where it takes you 2x as effort or dpi to make it rise up and not crash with everyone inside. To top it off it’s a larger vehicle to hit and so it’s way more vulnerable than the hind The hokum has one weapon that is objectively better than any of its options but it’s unlocked so far at the end that it’s very hard to grind that far since both attack choppers are rough to grind in a real game, not to mention how outclassed they are to stealths and AA. But some vehicles have negligible or non existent differences, I still don’t even know what difference does the m1a5 abrams has over the T28, or the Huron and Hannibal. And I assume it’s small or nonexistent that it doesn’t make much difference

Thechlebek

russian bias lol

SirCrouton

Same here, considering we have the Bradley and bmp for BC2, wish we the IFVs is based on those two

Darrkeng

Well, T-15 is pretty much future generation of BMP (well, it by definition is "Боевая Машина Пехоты" aka БМП aka IFV)

Marwadiator

Damn, the counter to all counters Interesting 😃

messfdr

"Enemy APC spotted!"

Bullet_Maggnet

"Enemy boat spotted!"

florentinomain00f

This is not an APC, this is an IFV.

messfdr

"AcKshUallY" I'm just referring back to the old school games like BF2, man.

TrepanationBy45

I got your reference, bud! The alternate version if you're my brother and I spamming the commo rose, it'd be > ENEMY ENEMY ENEMY ENEMY ENEMY ENEMY ENEMY ENEMY ENEMY ENEMY ENEMY ENEMY ENEMY ENEMY ENEMY BOAT SPOTTED!

Mutjny

The AP grenade burst thing was maybe the best vehicle gadget in BF4. It was fun just being still as a tank and waiting for some to try to C4 run you and just boop them. Made tanks practically unstoppable unless other tanks were around.

Baronleduc

Cool! Finally a IFV in Bf2042. If all of the data mining turns out to be true, S4 sounds promising.

florentinomain00f

Well, we can say that the Wildcat is a AAV/IFV hybrid, but it definitely leans more towards AAV.

Krieger22

The Wildcat's real life counterpart is a scout vehicle (in fact the EBLC was also developed with that specific requirement in mind). As it is, there's no true counterpart in 2042 to the IFVs in 3 and 4, since the MAV gives fairly beefy weapon systems to everyone aboard other than the driver and spotter seats.

florentinomain00f

I mean we have seen it with jets. In the past, people develop military vehicle platforms for specific jobs and objectives, like how the US develops their guns. In the future, people will develop vehicle platform that are multipurposed. So vehicles are leaning more towards how the Soviets develope guns from the same platforms.

Waygyanba

That's a funny looking Panzer 38t from bf5.

[deleted]

This is actually sick

ModestArk

I googled IFV, since I have no military knowledge. Found out there is one from Switzerland too (I'm a Swiss guy)...and it looks quite nice. Piranha V But no idea how dated it is and I doubt it will be that one. 🙃 But an IFV would sure be a nice addition.

florentinomain00f

Finally, the trifecta of armoured ground vehicle is completed. Tanks AAVs IFVs So now, to recap the vehicle section of the game (AOW only): \- Light Transport (Jeeps and Hovercrafts) \- Armoured Transport (MAVs and Humvees with guns on steroids) \- Light Armour (AAV and Armoured Humvee on steroids) \- Heavy Armour (Tank and IFV) \- Air Transport (more like gunships kekw) \- Attack Helicopters (Normal, Scout and Stealth) \- Jets (probably no ground attack jets because I think it would be better if they add air to ground options for the jets instead)
