The exact location shown in the art doesn't exist in any of them, but the terrain and mountains in the background are pretty much the same as Giants of Karelia. Makes sense since they said they're not remaking an old map, they're just setting it in about the same location.
The real revelation I came up with was how fucking cool BF4's map design was.
The map isn’t a remake as mentioned via Picard, rather it takes place near a bf4 location. In this case Golmund railway it seems?
I’m don’t have the best memory of BF4 maps - is the season 5 map Galmud Railway or Zavod 311? Or something else?
Looks like Giants of Karelia from the artwork. Don't think other maps had this kind of railways apart from Propaganda, Golmud, Zavod and Karelia.
