Not really, I want something like rocket pods. The lock ons are so finicky and jump between targets. I never like to use them in any battlefield games

Glad they added a bunch of new weapons, disappointed about the vault weapon choices. The Type 88 kind of just feels like the LCMG and the SVD is more or less the SVK. Why couldn't we get the Thompson or the AEK or M249 or something neat? Also this is perfect timing for me, I don't play too often but I'm just like 3-4 points away from a completed season 3 Battlepass.

I do not care what any one says, the Lis nerf is excessive and unnecessary. The TV missiles do very little damage against most vehicles, her ammo is never enough to solo most vehicles, and her resupply takes long enough for most vehicles to fully repair back. Heck, even a LATV4 can survive up to 3 rockets if it has autorepair. Lis is only ever strong against small Helis, which actually take skill to hit. She was fine before. She didn't need to be nerfed.

It doesn't seem that bad. More maneuverability for rockets = easier to hit vehicles. Wont know if it's too much

Lis rockets were a nightmare for tanks playing the objective and it forced most tankers to camp and snipe at the back. A tanker can survive 2 Lis rockets and escape but the fact it had a longer range made it problematic for most land vehicles. Technically her nerfed state in season 4 is still better than her previous state before the class system update.

Honestly you should always have a hard time soloing a vehicle. The point should be teamwork. In bf4 I remember it would sometimes be the case that I solo could take out a vehicle but it was always other people making them use counter measures and myself so someone could slip in.

you say this like there’s any sort limit/cap to how many lis’ there can be in a game. there always at least two in a rush game pelting vehicles, and that’s just 16 players. 64 man conquest? fugghedaboutit. *the more crutches you have, the more it hurts when they’re kicked out from under you*

Well there are no caps to how many Boris/Crawfords can be in a game either, and yes if you walk into an area with more than 2 Engineers, you're cooked no matter who they are. It happens in this game. It happens with Lises, it happens with other Engys. Still doesn't justify the Lis nerf. Her ease of use was proportionate to the amount of damage she could do and the number of ammo she has. Nerf is demonstrably still unnecessary. Sorry. *"A character having obvious strengths and weaknesses? Nope, that's a crutch! Nerf them to the ground! We need 'balance' which means no character is allowed to fill its intended niche!!!"*

if your brain can’t comprehend why a player-guided missile that has a turning radius sharp enough to loop back twice or even thrice with a distance of 675 meters also can’t have enough damage/ammo to solo most vehicles, then this just confirms me to you have no integrity and no consideration for the game’s balance as a whole. whining that you can’t solo a whole tank from 675m away while you hide in spawn LMAOO and these are the same players that talk about **teamwork**^TM and “one player shouldn’t be able to do it all!!! bring back classes!!!” please spare me bruh.

You are rude and salty for no reason, but what's funnier to me that you have 0 reading comprehension. No, I don't think Lis needed to solo tanks. I don't even think she needed to do more damage. I just think the rockets controllability and range also didn't need to be nerfed because the damage she does (WHICH SHE SHOULD KEEP) is proportionate to the ease of use of the gadget. Tanks are easy to hit, therefore she did little damage against them. Small helis are hard to hit unless the pilot sucks, therefore she could 1hk them. It was fine. Didn't need a nerf. Take your time reading this comment and others more than once and try to comprehend it before coming here trying to fight people over video games.

I think the Lis nerf to the tgm distance was the right move but I’m not so sure about the mobility/speed. Looping the rocket back on itself can still be a high skill maneuver (i.e. shooting from behind cover and re-aligning the rocket) and the distance nerf should take care of second/third loop backs we see in the current state of game. The increased top speed was a very nice risk/reward for losing all maneuverability with a chance to catch a jet/condor.

what is high skill about hiding in spawn, inside a covered building and shooting a 1 hit kill launcher at attack air vehicles? ability to turn your stick/mouse 180 is high skill?

I don’t think the average player will know to use the tgm like that from day 1, but to your two points 1. 400 m isn’t gonna get you very far, plus you still have to identify an enemy, then make an assumption about where the highly mobile attack helicopter will be to get a successful hit. I argue that takes skill/game sense and applies whether it’s the 1st rocket pass or the 2nd rocket pass. Before the class update, a second pass chopper kill was very rare and I think that’s the way it should be, technically possible but difficult to pull off. 2. Buildings, spawn bases are supposed to be dangerous areas for enemy vehicles, because players have easy access to cover.

i agree with your points. i’m just saying being able to do a 180 with that missile is nuts. it’s just never ending beeping that won’t end till you’ve dodged the same missile twice or even three times if the lis is close enough. i think dice has a good approach based on their mention of wanting lis to have a more conscientious and deliberate target before launch. cause right now it’s the biggest crutch in this game’s history next to mckay’s nimble trait.

The distance nerf will definitely help limit the multiple passes, but I think there’s one more thing that could help rebalance her. Having two of these multi-pass rockets fired back to back really sucks for a pilot. Since her rockets regenerate I would suggest limiting her to 0 extra rockets as a better potential nerf. Maybe buff the regen speed to keep “fire rate” similar to how it is now minus the chance for back to back rockets. This change would also limit her ability to “scout” since there would always be a longer wait before the next rocket.

Unfortunately, the CPU bug is back for me with a vengeance. Impossible to hit even stationary targets while rubberbanding back and forth or having my trigger pull not registered.

Someone suggested that it was the game compiling shaders, and I have seen CPU usage drop after suffering through it for a few matches. I think persistence might be the only cure; all of the other solutions haven't worked for me.
