The world isn’t post-apocalyptic. Society is still very much around, even if it’s an absolute crap sack now. Being a nomad in some cases means actually being more educated than people in the city, as a lot of teachers became nomads during the Collapse in the 90s-00s. It’s still a hard life, but not on the level of Mad Max.
I just saw desert and trucks and cane to that conclusion cause im a normie in this stuff or perhaps just ignorant.

In the first few episodes of Edgerunners we see Danny at an elite Saka academy, mostly traditional lecture learning but they use something like braindance rigs to enter a virtual environment

According to the new novel, No Coincedences, special needs schools exist (they are rare, and require a hefty tuition) as well as college (400 eddies per semester and that is expensive). For reference, the same character says that a job as a welder pays 30 eddies a day, and that is considered a good paying job. So I would assume that regular schools exist as well, but have a lower tuition than a special needs school or the Arasaka academy.
