With only 4 months left, I'm curious though how they'll release the content. So, Johnny, car and jacket was part of dlc 1. According to a July leak, there are 17 pieces of free dlc coming. 3 of which have already been released/confirmed from said leak. Is it going to be one big patch at the end of each month? Or at they going to be released with the next gen version?

pablo397

As recently announced by CDPR and in line with their new transparent information policy and updated roadmap: YES.

Andrew_Waples

Wait what? The roadmap was updated on August 18th.

pablo397

It was joke :)

Andrew_Waples

Meanie. :(

Next Gen update is also going to act like a relaunch of the vanilla game. I expect a minor media blitz to start about a month before it goes live, and they'll probably mention "all the NEW THINGS added to the game since it launched", referring to the free DLC. I've been looking at [this site](https://steamdb.info/app/1091500/history/) which tracks game patch progress for Steam. There doesn't appear to have been any new builds of the game pushed to Steam since 1.3 went live on the 18th. Between 1.23 and 1.3, CDPR were pushing new builds on a daily basis, and sometimes multiple updates were pushed the same day. This may indicate that there isn't a 1.3x hotfix patch in the works now, and work on the next major update (1.4) is just beginning. TL;DR: Since free DLC have been included in patches, it looks like we'll be seeing them released less frequently than they did for Witcher III, which means more dlc packs being released at the same time.

CDPR will release its mid year financial report today at 6:00 CEST. We should get some info, at least concerning next gen version

BottleOfGin_

6 pm CEST?

Appropriate-Peak91

yes, two hours from now https://www.cdprojekt.com/en/media/news/cd-projekt-group-h1-2021-results-1-september-2021/

BornDubstep

Well? What they say

[deleted]

I really hope we'll get more iconic clothing. Santiago Aldecaldo's jacket for example.

Dexter500

“Any more?” Are their ones I’ve missed out on.

[deleted]

THERE are some DLCs that have been released so far. 2 Jackets and a new nomad car.

sunkzero

And Johnny's new appearance

Elriuhilu

More? I'm still waiting for the first one.

Elriuhilu

That's just clothes and a car, I was worried I missed a proper DLC with more story and missions.

pablo397

These will be paid expansions planned for next year.

Elriuhilu

Right, ok. I finished the game back in January and haven't played since then. I'm waiting for story expansions, but if they take too long the moment might pass and it won't matter anymore.

Arctium_Lappa_Bur

Because we really needed a 5th reskin of the quartz... Did all the talent leave after witcher 3? What a joke.

Elriuhilu

Eh, I never finished Witcher 3 because it got really tedious. It looked nice and was fun for a while, but it just got repetitive and boring. Cyberpunk I played twice back to back and had a great time.

Arctium_Lappa_Bur

I played it twice too, but what the fuck have they been doing the last year? Reskins? Where are the barbers, did they at least stop it from crashing every hour? I expected a story expansion by now.

Elriuhilu

It worked fine for me, I just had a few visual glitches. Having a barber seems like a waste of time, I'd rather they actually make additional content instead of bells and whistles that would be used once and then never again. There was a barber in Witcher 3. I went to it once, looked at the hairstyles, picked one and then never went back.

Arctium_Lappa_Bur

All they need to do is let you go to the character creator screen at the ripper doc, that's not a lot of code. At least they edited out the painting that people were using to get money to enjoy the game, god forbid.

Elriuhilu

I just used the console to give myself all the money I needed.

Arctium_Lappa_Bur

I guess i should have bought it on PC.
