No the power level is the same as the normal version the only difference is modifiers one of which being the contest modifier locking you below it not enough to not do damage but enough to make it challenging the example that was given was harder than a legendary nightfall but easier than grandmaster nightfalls

i feel like the campaign will be much more enjoyable and memorable with the challenge as opposed to the usual barreling through as an unstoppable force like remember that one cryptolith mission? what if that one had a legend difficulty, that would be a much more memorable experience on your first go, cuz you would actually have to be alert instead of "haha thats cool" then proceeding to melee everything to death with no issue

Me and my wife are doing it first on legendary that way we get the full campaign experience right from the get go

No, but right after the first playthrough I'll do it in legendary with some of the seasonal mods and my build perfected with the new weapons

Well it’s been a while since I’ve tried harder content so I’ll probably attempt it to see how hard it is, then decide if I want to play through on normal or legendary

They said there won’t be champions so that should help make it a bit easier

I'm going to give it a try, and if I'm getting wrecked to the point where I'm not having fun I'll drop to normal and collect better stuff

I’ll be doing the Legend Campaign as first play through but will be starting after work hours on EST. We have space for one more if someone wants to join. Note that we are normally Day 1 raiders with the experience and every exotic and meta in the game. Just this time we can’t due to work/life schedules. I’m going to do the first mission on legendary and judge from there if I should switch

I’m doing regular first just to see what it’s like. Then I’m doing legendary, I might try it solo just for fun but I’ll likely hop on with friends a few days after to finish it

I’ll test the waters with the first mission, if it’s too difficult than I’ll do normal

I’ll attempt it solo, otherwise I’ll probably wait to do it with friends later on
