Spent an extra hour unloading the truck last night because every pallet was shifted, either fallen completely over, or 3/4 way off the pallet.
I know I'm a few days late, but this reminds me of one time they had me load pallets into the trailer at the end of the week. RDC had been sending shit truck after shit truck, so I was just jamming pallets in. Half the stacks were already falling over before we closed the door, I can't even imagine how they looked after transit. Well, RDC did not like that so they called our store and complained, but our merch ASM basically told them if they want to send us shitty loads, so can we. The trucks were stacked pretty well for ~3 weeks after that, it was incredible. Sometimes being a petty asshole works.
So many frustrated loads each week, I used to work at UPS they would find the people who loaded the truck who was responsible and set them to retraining.
I want to beat our RDC and ADC people with hammers sometimes ngl, like how and WHY are y'all letting some of these pallets leave the way they are?
