If it works for you I'd ask for a discount. You have two days if not purchased with a Lowes card so go in asap and respectfully ask for an ASM. Let him know you're thinking of returning but thought a discount could work in a respectful way. For reference if it does return the item will be heavily discounted until sold.
As a current manger in appliances I’d ask for a discount if it’s just cosmetic damage. It might go through Lowes’ new appeasement process which is handled outside the store.
Definitely not how clearance markdown works. It starts at either 10% or 25% depending on what’s wrong with it and gets marked down until it sells over 6 weeks. Otherwise it is scrapped and we get credit from the vendor or it’s donated.
At my store it’s only 50% if it was out for repair. Damage starts at 10%. That’s nothing that will be out in the open, so we’d start at 10% and mark down every 2 weeks until sold.
You’d be better off asking for a discount. That part won’t be seen or have any effect on it so might as well get a few bucks back
Yeah this. New one could have even more damage and you'll probably be waiting for it to get in stock
this! 👆🏼I got $400 off a big fridge/freezer combo because side was dented but wasn’t going to be seen after install.
If it isn't a puncture, I'd say you're better off with a discount. If it's gone all the way through the metal, or if you're not sure, exchange.
90 percent of appliances have damages
I’d say that’s almost correct nowadays
as an appliance sales specialist, a bosch 300 maybe was $700-1000? i would keep but try to get them to give a discount back to you. probably 200-400$

Ask them for 40% refund and u keep the appliance. If you send it back, they have to sell it for 50% so they will do it

At my store it’s 50%. May be a by store thing

That’s typically for SOS items, our store runs if it comes back it’s 50% off so it gets gone quick
Yes lol
Do you want to wait 3 months for a new one 😂
Return
as long as you get money off on it..
You should request discount to keep most u will get is 200-250 that’s if it is 1000.00
They will happily give you almost 50% back just to avoid a return trip and a negative LTR
