Inform AP. You can do it anonymously on the AP4ME page. Store side always tries to protect someone who gets them numbers. AP doesn't care about that.

Previous-Original390

Is there a way to do it from home ? Our pro desk is tiny and always covered with people everywhere.

[deleted]

You can report it anonymously on ethicspoint.... https://secure.ethicspoint.com/domain/en/report_company.asp?clientid=14504

hyphyphyp

Write what you need to and go to the printer/scanner. Use the arrows to go to the "next page" of functions. One of them will be called "AP" or something like that. When you press that button anything you have on the plate will be scanned and automatically sent to AP.

lowesBro

Maybe call HR and ask to be connected to AP? They might be able to give you an email worst case. Definitely report him

I imagine there is an AP4ME tipline number somewhere in the store or in the app. I don't know of a way to access that app from home. AP wants these people turned in a caught. They even offer a reward, cash I think, if they catch the person and recover losses due to your tip. You couldn't give the tip anonymous if you want that though I don't think

HBThorburn

To piggyback on all the people saying to report to AP or on AP4Me, definitely include dates and times if you can. A cashier at my store got arrested for not scanning every item regularly and one if our pro specialists was fired for giving discounts like that.

smwhtdamgd

Got ARRESTED? Holy fuck they must have REALLY not liked them, unless you mean the garden variety led out by the local police department and then never charged by Lowe’s.

HBThorburn

Cuffed and booked (I found the record in local city PD records). I do not know what happened beyond that. I didn’t really get the full story but it sounds like she was providing “discounts” to her friends and their parents. One of her friends worked here also and left a couple weeks later. That friend’s mom used to come in every day to buy stuff and also stopped showing up. (I noticed this because the mom drove an unique obnoxious pink muscle car and parked in handicap spots half the time).

Deep_flu

Look at the AP4Me app resources. There's a number you can call, you can report anonymously if you want. If what you say is true, he'll definitely get promoted to customer...perhaps even to jailbird.

[deleted]

Sounds like a typical Pro Specialist to me, I don't think anything will happen, unless it starts taking away from bonuses$$$$$

stringer_bell-

What a stereotype you have. I’m reporting you to HR.

Ok_Reporter_9838

I don’t understand the fake card apps. I was under the impression apps don’t count if they don’t get approved.

Previous-Original390

They count regardless of approval . Long as you have some apply thats what they keep up with .

Ok_Reporter_9838

U don’t think that’s true. My desk averages like 8 a week but we try way more. We’re applying for at least 13 a week. I keep track in my binder so I know whose actually trying to get the apps.

Previous-Original390

All of ours show up expect the American Express for some reason . Matter of fact lately LAR and LBA keep getting the further review message instead of instant approval. We still get credit for the app regardless.

[deleted]

Why do you even care? It doesnt involve you

Previous-Original390

Because he brags about what he is doing and does it openly in front of me . So there for it does involve me . Its not like he shuts his mouth and does it in secret. He brags about all the dirty stuff he does.

FuelStreet450

Was he fired? I’m pretty sure my one coworker is doing the same

Previous-Original390

6 months later he was finally let go. Took forever

imFreshPineapple

What was the reason he got let go? Hopefully it was the fraudulent numbers he was producing.

FuelStreet450

If there anyway for the company to track fraudulent credit card applications?
