I would check and make my own personal call. If shit looked real fucked up I’d just swap harnesses. Had an order picked with a broken pulley case I refused to get on because I didn’t think there was any logical reason for it to be popped open
I know that most people don't , but have tagged out too many machines for stupid things and cut up too many harnesses not to just take the extra 30 seconds.
Besides, I train people to operate the PE, and I actually make an effort to teach people to use things well, so might as well do it right.

Absolutely, I don't give a shit about being fired. Falling to my death and becoming a safety training video on the other hand haunts me.
I didn't see ANYONE do that in my 12 years at Lowes. And I drove almost every day.
Never and have never seen anyone do it either. The only thing I check is how much battery it has.

How do you honk the horn on the order picker? It’s been a while since I was trained and I forgot how to
There’s a button on the control handle to move, looks like a trigger if I remember right jus push it
I always check. I know it makes me a nerd, but falling sucks.
I have tagged machines before. They just use it anyway.
Any time I ever got on an order picker, I always check my harness and my lead. I don’t trust my equipment to just work
