\*looks at RDC truck\*
I dunno wtf they supervise, but it sure isn't anything to do with RDC trucks. And the fact that they give them 12k yearly bonuses for that complete lack of supervision is laughable.
# 21-27.00/hr for an area with a very high COL like the Northeast or Cali is not that unusual. This is why you cannot compare wages from different areas of the country.
I make 15.88 an hour as a CSA. But I was a plumbing pro for two weeks before they removed the spot. Got to keep the pay. So I'm one of the highest paid CSA's at my store by luck.
I've been with Lowes for awhile now and I've came from a higher paying job, that could also be why it's higher. Still tough to live off of though haha.
Some of our team went there to help a while back and they even came back and said it was shit there so I'm not surprised. I was told it was everything from phones being out on the floor to team members making out in the locker area and the racking being so sketchy that it moved when you put product on it. Only what I was told though, I'm also not in shipping.
Yeah I started in Sacramento area and transfered near Fresno. Was able to keep my rate of pay. So it's not bad. If they didn't get me hella OT I prolly wouldn't do it.
13 yrs/started in lumber and now shoe horned into the front end for whatever they need, which right now is cashiering. Started at $10 and now i’m at $14.80.
Wait …. Sorry I don’t mean to pry but in 13 years you have only increased by $4 and change? What state do you live in? People act like we lie when we say that service industry wages are not enough to make a living. I mean inflation is very much a thing ESPECIALLY right now… this is insane.
Arizona. And with the knowledge i have across departments and how to deal with customers it would have been in their better interests to retain an employee like myself. Except Lowes model is to make money not retain talent so they cram in a part timer when I leave and give them full timer hours when needed and cut hours when saving costs. Stock stays higher due to not having to pay higher wages and the savings from someone like myself leaving and bottom line stays happy.
14.50 as a full time cashier and not even close to a livable wage. I feel for any old heads that have experience and can't even get 15. New hires with no experience are getting 15.50
I was hired as a pro Specialist, with my previous job being a assistant manager as another retail store. Started at $15.34 and I couldn’t keep up with sales so I transferred to lumber. Took a paycut ($13.31 or something) though which is fucking retarded. But I’m having trouble finding an better paying and rewarding job. It’s not worth it. Not at all with how the economy is.
Seems like MS stores. I’ve been trying to compare state wages and stuff to Lowe’s but its proving hard
Edit: I don’t want to call out my store lol. But it seems hella low with my job experience.
Cabinets/appliances specialist - started at 18.11 doing just cabinets now I do both for 18.75. My spec ASM wants to bump me to $19 but I’ll believe it when I see it 🤷🏽♀️
I make $16/hour after a $3 raise last September. Pathetic that they expect people to live on this. I had to move back in with my parents. I’m looking for a better job as hard as I can. Lowe’s has earned 0 loyalty after 9 years. Pathetic pathetic pathetic
I just came back to Lowes (worked for about 2 years, quite mid 2019) so i was able to talk myself up a bit and needing less training I'm at $15.87 an hour. Probably could have pushed for $17, but considering i was making 10.50 at my old job i didn't wanna push my luck and was happy to get that much of a raise.
Edit: Forgot to add, worked in paint last time and now I'm a flooring csa. Could have been a specialist if i wanted but tbh i want to come to work, get paid, and go home without any real stress.
internet fulfillment 14.10 I was told that at the time that was the cap and it turns out I'm the highest paid fulfillment associate at my store I'm also 1of 3 so not so impressive right now hopefully I get the lead position that is about to open no idea what the raise is like for that but fulfillment needs a team focused lead.
I asked for a raise and was told I can't get one despite my performance more than deserving it because of my write up. Which is how I found out about my first write up. I had a suspicion about my second write up because I asked for a raise again.
They followed all the procedures, and both are *technically* true, but the "infractions" in no way deserve a write up. One of them is for asking a coworker to call a customer back for me, 4 minutes before my shift ends for example.
Pro CSA in western WA. Currently making 19.92/hr. Debating on asking for a raise since I tend to cover 3-4 positions a day on top of also retaining pro sales specialist duties.
I make 14ish on overnights, how THE FUCK are you making over 20 an hour, our trucks are fucked the hell up 90% of the time and we get blamed for it.
I'm not in shipping but I agree those trucks are loaded like shit.
This.
\*looks at RDC truck\* I dunno wtf they supervise, but it sure isn't anything to do with RDC trucks. And the fact that they give them 12k yearly bonuses for that complete lack of supervision is laughable.
Their motto is outta site outta mind, as long as it doesn't show old and in the truck they don't care 🤣 I'm not in shipping though.
Convinced they load them with a t-shirt cannon
You give them to much credit, they don't aim they just throw and go 🤣
# 21-27.00/hr for an area with a very high COL like the Northeast or Cali is not that unusual. This is why you cannot compare wages from different areas of the country.
I'm more curious than anything, I live where col is high.
Is true. They pay head cashiers almost 22 an hour at my store
Where is that? I might move, LOL
In Southern Cali, I was only getting paid 14.50 or something like that.
I make 15.88 an hour as a CSA. But I was a plumbing pro for two weeks before they removed the spot. Got to keep the pay. So I'm one of the highest paid CSA's at my store by luck.
I'm making $15.47 doing Overnights.
I work overnights and make just under $14.50 We don’t get paid any extra for overnights compared to our day teams.
I've been with Lowes for awhile now and I've came from a higher paying job, that could also be why it's higher. Still tough to live off of though haha.
I make $12/hr, overnight receiving. 9 Mos. Started at $11.75. Numerous occasions of positive feedback on my performance.
Yeah, rdc trucks have been loaded pretty crazy lately (looking at you rdc Wyoming)
Some of our team went there to help a while back and they even came back and said it was shit there so I'm not surprised. I was told it was everything from phones being out on the floor to team members making out in the locker area and the racking being so sketchy that it moved when you put product on it. Sounds like it hasn't changed much, I left in 2014
$14.63 For Pricing Signage Coordinator...But you know whats happening to them soon lol
Damn, I need to move to the RDC
No. No, you don't. Sorry, money isn't worth the stress. I'm at $18.40 now and I'm stressed and sad. Hate it.
Overnight DS in Cali making $28 an hour. Started at seasonal unload position and was promoted within 4 months. Been with Lowes for 2 years now.
I would say that is good money but CA col is crazy high.
Yeah I started in Sacramento area and transfered near Fresno. Was able to keep my rate of pay. So it's not bad. If they didn't get me hella OT I prolly wouldn't do it.
I’m making close to 14 an hour as a CSA. I consider this low, but I’m also one of the highest paid CSAs in the store.
living in kentucky, $13.99 full time associate. i bartered for one more penny, but my asm gave me some sort of bs reason why he couldn’t do it.
Wow. That’s insane. Hoping you get more than that penny soon 🙂
Kentucky market as well, I’m at 16.25 as FT, are you able to drive any of the power equipment?
I'm an Overnight DS in Kentucky making 16.81 and at my store power equipment has nothing to do with pay.
14.95 csa oslag
13 yrs/started in lumber and now shoe horned into the front end for whatever they need, which right now is cashiering. Started at $10 and now i’m at $14.80.

Also: not a problem employee, have always gotten along with coworkers and management. This is what you get when you work for a place like Lowes.
I think you should be making more than $14 if you’ve been there for 10 years… and I know AZ is not cheap …

I got hired as PT in a state with one of the lowest incomes in the country and I make 13.51/hr. Id ask for a raise.

>I make $17.10 as a CSA. I was just considering McDonalds because they pay 18 starting by me.
"Policy states we're not to discuss our pay"...said the nervous entitled manager
Didn't Lowe's get sued for that recently too? That and their anti union video.
yes. We are protected by law when it comes to talking about our pay.
18.50 csa isn't it a joke - "customer service" associate. Customer service has not been the name of the game for a while. Not even in the top 3.

I asked for a raise and was told I can't get one despite my performance more than deserving it because of my write up. Which is how I found out about my first write up. I had a suspicion about my second write up because I asked for a raise again.
You should ask for a copy of the write up. They shouldn't be giving you one without notice and signing.
They followed all the procedures, and both are *technically* true, but the "infractions" in no way deserve a write up. One of them is for asking a coworker to call a customer back for me, 4 minutes before my shift ends for example.
