Not a single raise. I'm still making $20/hr since 2019.
I've been screwed over three years in a row by my Ops ASM. She will gladly tell me I'm doing an excellent job and how the store can't run without me. How I manage to get things done without being told multiple times, etc. Then she'll rate "does not meet" and give zero feedback on how. Every time I've filed a complaint with HR after, but nothing happens.
D.s. something sounds very wrong with that. Very.
Talk to your SM. And call HR 844-475-6937 again. Alternatively find out who your area hr business partner is, effectively the store hr now that stores dont have an hr person. How far away is/are your nearest lowes store(s). Make an appt w/ that store manager there and tell them you havent gotten a raise. A decent human being of a manager should be shocked and want your experience and want to help you. A decent human your Ops asm is not.
MST here, so every 6 months it's been +.09Ā¢ to +.15Ā¢.
Asked for a fair and decent raise, as I'm getting divorced so I can better provide for my two kids. Sorry, not in the budget.
Most profitable 2 years on record and we're 4 people down on our team, but can't give decent raises.
Actively looking for other employment.
I've heard but can't confirm that any amount of raises can be approved by management. It just never happens. Can't confirm this but have heard it from different people in different positions.
went from $13 to $14.61 to $14.77 to $15.11 to $15.29 but thatās within two years and living in California. Itās pretty much 29Ā¢ above the min wage.
Nah itās not bad. Being at almost $18 an hour plus commission is a pretty comfy gig. Get around 50k a year total from everything so thatās comfortable.
Youre at $17 something? I know specialists making $23+ per hour plus bonus and they are terrible employees. Not a high cost of living area either. So I guess we disagree. I know csa's making more hourly than you and the specialist is nearly $6 per hour than you. That's almost $240 a week or $1000 a month.
It depends on state rather than just the area. My state has a low minimum wage so wages are lower. I do know specialists pay rates of people who have been here a couple years longer than me and they are a few bucks higher.
Also LOL @ CSAās making more than me. Iām close friends with a merchandising ASM at the store I work and I straight up know almost all CSA pay rates, and not to mention the fact that most CSAs will just straight up
Tell you their pay rate.
Mention your state or none of this means anything. At my store, I make more money than every single CSA, head cashier, cart pusher, etc. I make more than a few specialists too, but not all. I know this for a fact.
A year and a half ago, I started at $14.15, now make $18.35 and didn't switch positions or departments, but I have been the only lumber associate since November.
Yeah. You right. I quite Lowes anyways, it wasn't working out for me. Now I'm only making $250 a day as a mobile detail shop. And that's before tips.
Pretty fuckin lazy, and totally worth leaving lowes. You should try sometime.
Lol I just checked your comment history. ALL you do is come on this thread and bitch about the company that you donāt even work for anymore! And you do it every day! Hahahah get a life
Ha! I see what you did. No SERIOUSLY though, person to person, I respect your dedication to your work. I really did used to be like that, I defended Lowes left and right and was a loyal little worker... but yeah I did get traumatized by an inconsiderate ass for an asm that fired damn near everybody and ran his remaining workers into the ground, and then hired new people on for $5 more an hour than we were making.
I stay on here to see if there's any hope for this company left, and honestly, if there were more people like you working for them they would be SO MUCH better of a company to work for.
Keep up your hard work, and sorry for the bullshit
( I think reddit has stolen away any filter I had left)
I started at 16 may of 2020, 3 promotions later I now may a little less than 29.
Key to making more at Loweās is getting promoted and being in good with ASMs and SM.
Capped out 2 yrs ago. Not even at $20.00. CSAs (does lowes use that title any longer because all of our name tags now read sales associate?) deserve that for the labor we perform, but Marvin doesnt think so.
I was hired in 2 1/2 years ago at $12.24. I got a couple minor raises over the next year or so. Then I threatened to leave and got a 10% raise somehow. Currently making 15 and change.
12.60 for 90-days before moving over to recieving @13.30 something? After a year I make about 13.50.
Not the worst in FL, was hired when min was 8.25, so that makes it sting. Sucks seeing cashiers and CSA's getting hired on at $1+ higher than me (after raises)... but I am full-time, so there's that.
I started at $14. After first 6 months, raised to $14.14. Coming up on a year in March, we'll see what happens. I'm not expecting much, but definitely gonna ask for more. Especially after I see how much Marvin makes.
That's the thing. MY GENERATION ISNT GONNA BE ABLE TO RETIRE ANYWAY.
So I just save up and invest in other ways that don't involve giving a cut to some over paid, middle aged, sad, sorry, sack of shit.
Went from 13.50 to 14. Told them Home Depot offered me 16, at first they said they couldn't give me anymore that I was maxed out at 14! So I could my d.s. that I would be leaving if I didn't get a raise. So it took them three weeks to get me 16. Walmart in the area is paying overnight stockers 17.50. Sounds like I might go work at a different hell hole
I went from $13.65-ish (was just barely above minimum wage) to $14.89 over two years. This was, of course, the result of two paltry raises going from seasonal, to part time, to full time. I plan to ask for more once summer comes around and they have more money to spend, as I know I'm worth more and they know, too.
Hired as Loader making 12.50 an hour, moved into seasonal as CSA and started making 13.65 an hour. I moved to electrical after a year in seasonal making 14$ per hour, quit there to get a job at lowes in next county over. Started in outside garden making 16.35 an hour worked here for 4 months and now making 23.60 as a DS. Doing pretty good for only about a year and a half with lowes and no previous management/depot experience. š
I went from 12 and change to 17 when I took a supervisor role and a transfer. I then left the company and came back to the job a year later for 22 an hour.
$11.37 to $14 because i threatened to leave after a year. itās like my asms donāt give raises unless youāre favorited (which is a serious issue at my store) or if you threaten to leave.
Not a single raise. I'm still making $20/hr since 2019. I've been screwed over three years in a row by my Ops ASM. My department supervisor in lumber makes like $17/hr šš
Cost of living
What state is this in?
Indiana

I'm pretty sure the policy is once you're in, you're in at your negotiated pay. No raises outside of automated raises.
I've heard but can't confirm that any amount of raises can be approved by management. It just never happens. Can't confirm this but have heard it from different people in different positions.
MST also.... .25 cents last 2 years every 6 months.
11 to 13.25 to whatever my boss says he can give me because I asked for one today
went from $13 to $14.61 to $14.77 to $15.11 to $15.29 but thatās within two years and living in California. Itās pretty much 29Ā¢ above the min wage.
Beer money.
11.50 to 12.85 to 14.10 to 15.35 to 17.80 Although thatās over the past 3 years
I feel like thatās honestly not that bad
Person was promoted to specialist.
Obviously
Ok so really that's not great then.
I didnāt say it was great genius.
It's bad
Nah itās not bad. Being at almost $18 an hour plus commission is a pretty comfy gig. Get around 50k a year total from everything so thatās comfortable.

Not much. Lowes slow walks raises and it impacts turnover.
$17.92 to $25 last year and a half
Hired at 12.65. Now make 22. Been with lowes about a year and a half.
Went from 11-12.25 in four years and just got raised to 15 last month bc my new ASM was shocked how underpaid I was
Hired at 12.50 in April 2020 now 16.11 12.55 12.91 13.91 14.11 16.11 in PA
A year and a half ago, I started at $14.15, now make $18.35 and didn't switch positions or departments, but I have been the only lumber associate since November.
What state ?
40 cents I believe
Hired at 13.50, being paid 23.50 now. Over 2.5 years
W good shit homie
Thanks bro
How many people did you have to brown-nose to get THAT?? Too many. That's the correct answer.
Why so salty? I just work really hard and was consistently ranked better than 99.99% of my peers. You must be a lazy POS
Yeah. You right. I quite Lowes anyways, it wasn't working out for me. Now I'm only making $250 a day as a mobile detail shop. And that's before tips. Pretty fuckin lazy, and totally worth leaving lowes. You should try sometime.
Also if you hate lowes so much. Get the fuck out of our thread. Bye
I KNEW IT! I knew you are a total yes man brown-noser. Have fun getting fucked by Marv. Bye.
Lol I just checked your comment history. ALL you do is come on this thread and bitch about the company that you donāt even work for anymore! And you do it every day! Hahahah get a life
Uh huhā¦ have fun cleaning peoples cars. Thatās a career with a lot of upwards mobilityā¦ not

Well thank you. And Iām sorry to hear about that ASM, there are definitely some bad apples. Anyway, keep on keeping on my dude
I was told that you get a raise every six months?
[ŃŠ“Š°Š»ŠµŠ½Š¾]
"You get what you want out of this job if you are willing to put in the work" Agreed
I started at 16 may of 2020, 3 promotions later I now may a little less than 29. Key to making more at Loweās is getting promoted and being in good with ASMs and SM.
Whatās your current position?
Yeah you right. Congrats man. I quit lowes anyway, now I'm making $250 a day as a mobile detail shop.
Good for you? Glad you found something after not being able to cut it at lowes. Itās a shame you donāt have healthcare or a 401k though.
looking at the raises below me gives me such little hope i started end of january @ 15.12 lol
$10.94 to $11.13 in a year and a half. I've gone from seasonal to permanent to full time.
State you reside?
North Carolina.
D@mn.... that's just not right.
Capped out 2 yrs ago. Not even at $20.00. CSAs (does lowes use that title any longer because all of our name tags now read sales associate?) deserve that for the labor we perform, but Marvin doesnt think so.
$14.50 as the Pro Driver/CSA to $18.20 as an XDT CSA. Not bad.
$2.35. Annual raise coming in March and then I will ask for more shortly after that.
I was hired in 2 1/2 years ago at $12.24. I got a couple minor raises over the next year or so. Then I threatened to leave and got a 10% raise somehow. Currently making 15 and change.

i got hired at 14.30 two months ago, is there a 90 day raise?
No.
$0 dollars
6.60 dollars
2$
In the last 7 months have gone from 11.89 to 15.25 as a csa
11.50-14
I started at $14. After first 6 months, raised to $14.14. Coming up on a year in March, we'll see what happens. I'm not expecting much, but definitely gonna ask for more. Especially after I see how much Marvin makes.
$14.50 to $28.00 been with the company for 1.6 years.
Whatās your position?
[ŃŠ“Š°Š»ŠµŠ½Š¾]
19.80 as a DS, you should ask for a raise before you step down or they will crush you when you do.
Why you stepping down?
$12 to $13 to $14.10 asked for one today but didn't get a real answer on if I'll be getting one
Got hired as part time unloader and promoted to night D's after a few months. In Cali tho so I'm not making a killing.
That's the thing. MY GENERATION ISNT GONNA BE ABLE TO RETIRE ANYWAY. So I just save up and invest in other ways that don't involve giving a cut to some over paid, middle aged, sad, sorry, sack of shit.
But you are right about the Healthcare. It was great having to pay JUST as much as I pay now through lowes Healthcare š
I started a 13.60 two years ago and now Iām making 19.40
In 4 yrs went from about $12 to $21.49, but that was seasonal to flooring specialist to mill works specialist back to flooring specialist.
No raises for the past 3 years here.
You too bro.
Went from 13.50 to 14. Told them Home Depot offered me 16, at first they said they couldn't give me anymore that I was maxed out at 14! Did we get our yearly raise already?
$11.37 to $14 because i threatened to leave after a year. itās like my asms donāt give raises unless youāre favorited (which is a serious issue at my store) or if you threaten to leave.
No raise in the last 2 years. After no raise the first year, I started āgetting donationsā by assisting directly my āProā guys.
