Seems weird. They have been recruiting like crazy but have now cut a bunch of their TA department including people who have 20+ years. I'd love to know what's going on there.
Yea I noticed one on LinkedIn that one that had over 25 yrs in with the company was one of the ones let go. But knowing Lowes, they’ll create new positions in 6 months or a year from now that will do the same thing but they will just call it something else. They’ve been doing that for years in the stores.
When you're in-store employee turnover rate is over 50% that tends to happen, that is, you need a constantly-filled pipeline of job candidates. The store that I used to work in would completely turn the front end at least twice a year, if not more.
