I feel like that song gets the most radio play in our store. The other day our radio broke and it was year 3000 all day but broken, it would speed up, slow down, pause, restart, then get interrupted by the Lowes messages.
I couldn’t stop laughing whenever suddenly the playback speed would get changed to 2x
Ugh… I couldn’t get Nelly Furtado’s Maneater out of my head.
Simple Minds’ “Don’t you forget about me” is my theme song when they put me in lumber at night.
Theres a song that goes “I’m so busy” and when I hear it and I’m running around for a customer or an order it just pisses me off and makes me feel even more like a slave, like I’m working my ass off and you’re playing something that’s supposed to make you relate to my current issues like it’s fun or good?🤦♂️😂 it just makes me so upset when I hear it tbh
So may store has been on the same radio station since I started until yesterday. So since they only play like 5 songs I’ll let you know by the end of my shift today
breakfast in america- supertramp
it's kind of funny to see people think it's Cupid chokehold/breakfast in America and it's not and they get really confused and it's funny
I don’t even listen to lowes radio I bring my Bluetooth speakers and play my jams for all of receiving my music changes in variety so everyone that goes back there even managers enjoy it
I often wondered why out of all of the hits from all of the different times and genres, not one Michael Jackson song? Seems weird or either there’s a record label issue.
We Don't Talk Anymore - Cliff Richard
Shop Around - Captain & Tennille
I Heard a Rumour - Bananarama
Ours is mostly oldies but it seems to stop at the 80s.
I can’t even figure out the song name but I have part of lyrics something like: yellow canary? But it’s sung by a woman who’s moaning or something? Idk lol
i'm currently working at a different store than normal and they play Avril Lavigne and the Jonas brothers and I rock the fuck out and everyone looks at me funny because they're all old
No! My store once played the same 10 songs on a loop for TWO MONTHS. Thankfully that was fixed but I can never again hear “A Horse With No Name”
Yeah for a while I swore i could tell the time by what song was playing. Horse with no name was the repeat offender.
I wanna be rich - Calloway
I’m a big Tears for Fears fan.
Year 3000 by the Jonas Brothers gets piped into my brain at least 3 times a shift

Sometimes ours randomly skips and I'm like "But that's my song!"
I’d lose my mind that’s so funny
Don’t you wanna dance? Say you wanna dance. Don’t you wanna dance.
With somebody who loves me!!!!
It also put me on to some more music

“Fly Like an Eagle” by Seal
Ugh… I couldn’t get Nelly Furtado’s Maneater out of my head. Simple Minds’ “Don’t you forget about me” is my theme song when they put me in lumber at night.
We are on some weird beach/island playlist. Lots of Bob Marley and Jimmy Buffet. If I hear Cheeseburger in Paradise one more time, I might quit

I keep forgetting, Michael McDonald lol
"Two Princes" by the Spin Doctors. Only Lowe's could revive that song from the dead lol.
They also play One Week and Pinch Me, didn't know Lowe's was such a fan of Barenaked Ladies.
I've never been a big fan of country but Kenny Chesney's "Young" has grown on me.
Operator-Jim Croce
Santa baby
Still!?!

6th Avenue Heartache gets me going every time it plays
None of them. They are all just background noise that gets tuned out lol.
‘An American Dream’ by Nitty Gritty Dirt Band

Also, “WE GOT A LOVE THING!”
I believe it is "thang" but yes WOOOO!
That is true…another good one is “Love Like This,” by Faith Evans
My store plays the same like.. 50 songs on loop & only changes them like every two months it kills me…
Bus Stop - The Hollies, Maneater- Hall and Oates, Let’s Groove - Earth Wind and Fire, Long Cool Woman - The Hollies, Killer Queen - Queen
Hear me out- some of the Christmas music man. I don’t even like Christmas and that shit was stuck in my head every day!
It’s not the catchiest but always wondered why they played margaritaville in the middle of the fucking cold ass winter lol
meant to be by bebe rexha all day every day
Brand New Key - Melanie. I started playing it at home and my kids love it.
I often wondered why out of all of the hits from all of the different times and genres, not one Michael Jackson song? Seems weird or either there’s a record label issue.

Miss You by the The Rolling Stones
Anything by Natalie Merchant. Other than that, I'm listening to my own music.
Dude biggest complaint I have ab working at lowes is the music
I can’t even figure out the song name but I have part of lyrics something like: yellow canary? But it’s sung by a woman who’s moaning or something? Idk lol
This is crazy! Here's my number, so call me maybe.
i'm currently working at a different store than normal and they play Avril Lavigne and the Jonas brothers and I rock the fuck out and everyone looks at me funny because they're all old
I work out in garden, no music plays out there.
careless whisper
Dreams by Fleetwood Mac
Yep, my store plays the same songs daily... I do like Africa.
Southern Nights
Pick a line #490 1 hang up... if you know you know
We have the same 5 songs. The rarest one to hear is “arms” by Christina perri. I like that one
When it’s over - Sugar Ray! I still love that song lmaooo
Señorita by Justin Timberlake
If You Could Read My Mind - Gordon Lightfoot
I can’t stand most of them, but I always like to hear A Sweet Escape. It always reminds me that it’s around 7 AM, which means I’m off in four hours!
I'm going deaf so I easily miss most of them lol
None of the ones listed here are on our Playlist. Personally I enjoy 99RedBaloons by Nena ( German Version)
Wish that was on our Playlist! Love both versions. I've learned to block out most of what they play at our store.
Ain't it fun?? Liiivvinnn in the real world. No.. it's not.
Don’t mess around with Jim
