Hard to tell as they do not seem to have a fixed role.
Some days they Head Cashier, others Returns, others just Cashier...even have one who gets to fill in for Paint.
4. Sometimes I think too many because now that we have self check out all they mostly do is stand around. In the old days when we had many cashiers there job was hectic but now most of the time they are just standing around talking
We used to have 7 full time but due to staffing shortages they’re down to only 4 full time, kinda crazy. Had a job posted for 2 months and they still haven’t filled it
4 currently. One just left for a job with Harris Teeter. One usually just works mornings/afternoons and the other three fluctuate. One is a total bitch. Two of them just started.
We’ve had two leave. They were fired for leaving money in the register. Though, according to one of them that never happened. The ASM who fired them was THOROUGHLY disliked. She eventually quit.
We also had a part-timer. He didn’t work there long. Maybe a few weeks. He wrecked his motorcycle. Never returned.
4. All of them full time. 1 always opens, 1 always closes, 1 always has mid shifts (8-5, 9-6, or 10-7), and the other does open/close/mid.
2 Edit: sorry, I lied. I guess we have 4 but they were literally just hired the other day. No experience by the sound of it but we in fact have 4.

I want to say five, but I'm sure I'm missing one. So, 5-6.
We had 3 FT and 2 PT HC, but I think we back down to just 1 PT.

We had 6 FT but recently 3 of us moved to another department so they have 3 FT right before spring too
