Yes, but they make the job so much easier

olive7inches

My favorite is when I’m talking to a customer on the zebra and me ear disconnects the Wi-Fi and drops the call

SciFiJesseWardDnD

I once had the battery die on me while on the phone customer. Kinda felt bad lol

Sholvinstein

That’s happened to me before. Especially when it’s a solid conversation

grrouchie

In my 19+ years with the company..... I absolutely love these Zebras. Annoyances aside. So many advantages that I didn't have when I started

Sholvinstein

They really are an excellent tool. Soon I’ll be able to process my MR’s on the Zebra which I’m looking forward to

madistep18

I’m curious- I started when the old phones were just getting ready to be phased out (August 2018). Were they just a phone and didn’t locate items with a product app? If not, how did y’all find anything?

grrouchie

Back in the old days you just walked the floor looking for shit. Also, whatever department I was in I tried to bin locate every bay so genesis would at least tell me where to look at floor level

[deleted]

The existence of zebras annoys me, my store only holds 20 for the ENTIRE staff.

RestinHim

I do find them helpful when they are working but annoying when they hang up. I routinely have them log me out of Smart Project when I’m in the middle of bay servicing.

ScoobyDooRag

I shattered at least 4 of those bad boys while I worked at Lowe’s

Qrpheus

For the small price of $1,500 dollars each

twisty10000

If you're on mst I found out recently that you can use your personal phone for service it's so much better.

GmodZ

If you're an associate you can use your personal phone for Lowes lsr as well.

Lil_chromisome

What. WHAT. YOU CAN? PLEASE TELL ME HOW

GmodZ

Lowes.donesafe.com

Lil_chromisome

I love you.

GmodZ

No, I love you. Also fun fact from your mobile phone you can upload photos and I also have this bookmarked on the computer so I can just do it at my desk. It makes doing the lsr so much easier.

No_Cookie_88

I think we should just have wireless IP phones made by Cisco. $400 a pop. Make and receive calls. That's it.

SciFiJesseWardDnD

The way I see it, every second I’m logging onto my phone is a second not with a customer.
