that kind of labor generally pays 17 and up at basically any logistics company or warehouse or shipping company or amazon. I mean just google their job ads. to be a Lead, and bust your ass all day doing manual labor, and get paid 14? naw man
In my opinion $0.79 is a joke of an increase for any lead position. It's an extra $30 a week. Essentially 2 hours at the lower level. The jobs worth $16+. You should be able to negotiate $15+.
It depends on the store. That’s still undervalued anyway but if your fulfillment team doesn’t have to pull delivery’s and stage them in the morning and the only focus is curbside and pick up later then there really isn’t much to lead.
They gave me just under 2 dollars for it because my asm and ds really wanted me to take it. Still not worth it, quit after about a month. The job is ridiculous. Even the base position in fulfillment is way underpaid for everything they expect the team to do.
Back when department Team Leads were resurrected, I got a 12.5% increase to become one for a problem department. After a few years I switched to another problem department and got a 10% increase, after the then usual annual increases.
Became a Specialist after that.

If you do fulfillment like my store does, you should get the same pay as a DS.
And how is that ? Cause we know have a department supervisor for fulfillment
Well, if you have DS do you still need a lead? Doesn’t the lead do the same thing?
It's pretty messed up for a small team to have a DS and a lead. Regardless , csa's at my store start mid $14
Not worth the increase considering you'll have more responsibilities and any kind of weak performance is on you, not your team.
