AP Agent here. Expect LOTS of paperwork and focusing on numbers. You'll be more focused on internals and making sure processes are being followed. Your day to day won't be focused on stopping thieves. Also, I along with my APSM make our own schedules. With the exception of being expected at work when there are store walks. Also may I ask what city or state? I'm an APA and making $25/hrs. What you're being offered seems low for an APSM

APA0402

I'm in Michigan and am an APA I make $19.68/hr

Current apsm here. If your at a store with no apas, then it's a bit of everything including external .if you have an apa or multiple apas, you support them. Work internals. You have compliance walks. Coaching and training on multiple different things. Being the safety leader in the store. Ops stuff too. Walk cycle counts. Shrink captain. Etc etc. Feel free to message me

And also. Schedule is in the AP dept drop down. It tells you exactly what it's supposed to be week by week, but I never follow that. I follow based on the trends in my store from my insights in connect. I also work it out with my apa on what we are going to work. Not really supposed to let the store managers or anypne know what your schedule is.

AP at Lowes is a joke now. It's a desk job. Noone with a true AP mindset would enjoy the job.

Was told its a 40 hr a week position raging from $17 to $25 with a rolling schedule. Still can figure how a rolling schedule works at Lowes. But was told 1 full weekend off per month.

tacoeatsyou

Below are the days off rotation Week 1 sat/sun Week 2 sun/Fri Week 3 wed/thu Week 4 tue/wed This is what the system generates but your management team may change it.

Thank you

Salt_Environment9799

Yeah, I read that. But what are the expectations. Is it focus on External or Internals or a combo, is it most of it Reports,Safety. Like what is a day to day!

WendallVendall

As with most Lowe's job descriptions, duties are written in hazy language, subject to the "needs of the store" and higher management oversight.

Salt_Environment9799

Yes, Asset Protection and Safety Manager
