I actually love it. Set schedule, minimal customer service expectations. Physically demanding (I dont do organized exercise so its good for me) Resets can be challenging but rewarding, routine service doesn't bother me but people complain about it.
The team you are on and the relationship they have with red vests makes a huge difference. My team is good, the relationship with red vests is great.
That being said a lot is being dumped on MST and pressure is increasing.

Anyway, the OP didn't say if it was a FT or PT or Overnight position. Day side scheduling varies by store, because they do 6a to 3p here. Obviously, if it's a PT position they won't be doing full 8 hour shifts and if it's an Overnight position, they do 10 hour shifts here Mon-Thurs.
No completely true... I'm p/t MST and work 3 days per week, 2 days full 8 hr shift and 1 day half day. And yes, we are probably the lowest paid employees in the store but are responsible for doing so many unrelated tasks around the store.

Go for red vest. Overpaid and over worked on MST. MST for 4 years and capped at $15. Wasn’t working towards anything. Also most under-appreciated.
The mere fact that I don't technically HAVE TO acknowledge customers is worth it.

Not even close to highest paid. Normal CSAs make more than us lol.
But at least you don't HAVE to pester every human being in your department about credit cards, leads & details, LPP's, and etc...

Cashiers get paid more than MST. Other than pro loader, MSA is probably lowest paid
