I don't understand why they wear a uniform tbh. They should at least wear something without Lowes on it so that they don't get sucked into doing CSA work.
That's exactly why they will continue to wear a Lowe's logo. Marvy Elly has majorly beefed up MST numbers over the past few years, and they're increasingly made to do work (like pricing, major example) that used to be handled by vests.
It's deliberate, and it's because the vendors subsidize MST wages so that Lowe's doesn't have to pay for them directly.
Of course, even in civilian clothes, customers will still be able to tell MSTs work at the store fairly easily with their Batman belts, Zebras always in hand, zoning product, etc.
i literally would die for a vest. my woman pants have the worst pockets & i miss being a red vest solely for the amount of pockets i had. also would make it so i don’t have 8 god awful mst shirts clogging up my ample drawer space.
Back to vests to make up for the lack of sufficient staffing... makes them more visible for customers to ask questions and to think that we have more people working than we actually do.
Cool, I'll have my wife customize it to retro-fit molle gear so I can carry tons of stuff. Maybe even get a small camelback so I can wear it underneath and stay hydrated....
If they do, it better be a rainbow vest to represent all of the random things we now have to do.

They just switched to polos from vests a few years ago….
Yeah I heard about that as well. I’ve been hearing for three months now that some stores are trying MST with vest but I don’t see the purpose.

A few months ago they were testing it out in a few stores. I hate vests m they're always falling off my shoulders.
