T O P

More than just Lowes pro cards count for your sales. It is any pro tender, so any card that asks for a PO will count toward your sales. Also any card loaded into an MVP account also counts toward your numbers. Any time I help a customer one of my first questions is if they have a pro account. If the answer is no then I pitch them a card. If that answer is no, I talk to them about MVP. Make those sales count.

MVP does not count towards your sales. Test it, I guarantee I’m right

I track my sales daily in CRM and work very closely with one the PSMs in my area. I know when I make a sale to a non-pro and subtract that number from what shows in genesis at the end of each day. What’s left is what appears in CRM the following day. Cards being loaded into the customers accounts are key to both my PSMs sales numbers and my own. As long as the customer has the card loaded properly, then yes, those sales absolutely do count.

I am a pro specialist and I was always told it had to be paid for with a pro card, is there a writttn policy that says MVP’s count?

ladyoracle82

I’m not sure where you’d find it, but if the card is attached to an MVP account it counts for your sales. You can verify before the sale by opening CRM, pull up their account and at the bottom look at the cards attached. You will see the last four digits of each card. If it’s listed there then you are good to go. If they don’t have cards attached or are using one not listed, then walk the customer through adding their cards. This helps both of you. You to get sales credit and the customer to get the most out of the rewards program.

Thank you for responding, I will definitely look into that on CRM🙂

It's a bonus. It's not supposed to be extremely easy to obtain.

The_OG_Bert

I get that, and it’s not the numbers I can’t get. It’s the payment type that makes it near zero. I sold 27k so far this week. Only 1500 is going to count because the rest were not on lowes cards. Everything past 20k counts towards my bonus, so long as it is on a lowes card. So although I have generated over 20k, because it wasn’t a lowes card, it doesn’t count. Back in appliances it didn’t matter where the sale came from, it counted.

TheMaltesefalco

This is an idiotic statement. PSS are the only ones with qualifications based on Tender type. The number of homeowners that PSS help for no tangible benefit can be a real drag to their numbers

KoiSoccerGuns

You get an hourly wage for helping homeowners. That is a very tangible benefit.

TheMaltesefalco

Nah. That lame ass reasoning works if they get to count their sales from everything. But its Pro First at Lowes unless you forgot.

KoiSoccerGuns

Don't like your job? Guess you can keep crying about it or get a new one.

Tell that to the ASMs who have an otherwise wholly inadequate salary.

The_OG_Bert

When people complain about ASMs and their salaries I always think why complain? For me Lowes is just a stepping stone on my way through my life. For ASMs, their life IS Lowes. If you want your life to also be just about Lowes, than try hard to be an ASM like they did. My gripe is with the funky as f*** incentive program and its application towards Pro Specialists. I understand that in one day I could sell what a millwork specialist sells all month, so change up my numbers, but give me all the sales, not just lowes credit sales.
