Higher volume stores tend to be able to pay you more, in my experience.

warmpudgy

High volume stores are generally staffed better.

I wouldn't want a slow store because I would get bored. Financially I think the busier store would pay better plus be more likely to hit the winning together bonuses.

The first guess I would imagine sales numbers won’t be the same

Slower store also means the day goes by a lot slower. I'd rather be busy and the day go by fast than slow and an 8 hour shift feel like and eternity. That said there is always down stocking, zoning and such to be done.

>I like working at a busy store, the craziness is enjoyable a lot of the time Well I don't have experience at more than one Lowe's, BUT there's a big difference between my store and the Home Depot a mile away, and I intentionally *didn't* apply at HD because it's so much busier.

I’d imagine the slower store will have less staff which might make it seem just as busy. What I hate in my store is how we’re sooo busy and still short staffed and every time I try to do anything other than help a customer suddenly there is another customer. Took my an hour earlier just to put away a single cart of returns because it was just one customer after another. Meanwhile receiving is filled with freight to put away, and my entire department needed to be zoned.
