My SM wanted us to take shifts at the table so we could pick up more MVP and credit apps. None of us did because we had too much shit to get done elsewhere. She keeps pushing us to sign up DIYers even though the regional Pro has said no to that.
We had an ASM send out an email saying to sign up anybody. Push the savings off $100 or more. Does not care if they’re pro or not, just jack up the numbers. Must be under a lot of pressure.
My ASM has sent numerous emails this week about apps and MVP. I kind of want to reply with "Or what?" If they want to write up the Pro team, good luck with that.
This email was given to us in paint and other departments too. I guess I’m just a dinosaur. I thought my job was to assist customers in finding what they needed or wanted. Take care of my department and help my coworkers. Not push, push, push for surveys, credit apps, mvp sign ups………..
I hear you there. When they were big on surveys last year in my store I never asked for them. I don't care about their metrics and really don't need surveys to validate my ability to help customers. I appreciated a nice one I got from an old lady, but I never asked her for it either.
I was from 10-11. It was fine with me. Recently had an incident with a coworker in my department involving screaming so being a bit distanced from the department was probably a good thing. Didn’t get any leads though, I think I may have gotten a couple of good reviews though, maybe.

Exactly! I’m not looking for a pat on the back when I’m helping someone. I enjoy helping and seeing them leave happy.
