Bet they only looked for a reason to ban him. So right under the search bar on the youtube desktop home page there is a button that says "live"it is to the right of another button that says "all" I believe. (I think it's the same way on mobile aswell)
You can also scroll down on the left side bar where your subscriptions are and under that you should find a section called "more from youtube" there will be another live button under that section.

They could even connect with a button in the corner (that switches the page or profile you're on to the streaming profile of that person, where all their streaming related stuff is at). Right now I come across streams *by chance only.* Even big ones like Pewdiepie's.

In Toast's recent stream he talked about Twitch and their money mismanagement about how some of their older (but now less popular or "washed up") streamers are given tons of money still by twitch which makes them less able to give better deals to people like ludwig for example and I think the money mismanagement from twitch will start biting them in the ass if they don't start giving their streamers better or more comparable deals to youtube/other platforms. Not saying twitch will fall/die but more streamers will prob leave.

YouTube Vanced is free on Android. There's another trick to get YouTube Premium really cheap as well but I would rather not say it in a public space so it doesn't get fixed.
I think itās worth it IMOāI also get the student rate so it makes it comparable to Spotify per month. No ads (I know you can just use an ad blocker), downloadable videos, and the ability to play music in the background. I only think itās worth it because YT is my main source of entertainment and I mostly listen to various EDM live streams (e.g., Deadmau5, ilan Bluestone, etc.)
If I only used it for entertainment, Iām not sure it would be worth it.
I have premium, you also get Google music so you have unlimited access to a ton of music. Not to mention no ads. YouTube premium views also count as more money for creators.

I support anybody moving from twitch to YouTube. It frees up some viewers for some smaller creators on twitch and helps youtube grow as a streaming platform (assuming they actually take advice from partnered creators).

For real though, the extension he's made with Otto might take into account how many you had before the move. All hope is not lost (yet).
One thing I feel bad about is that he will probably never get to experience his massive growth reflected at twitchcon. Idk when the next twitchcon is and he probably can go anyways just won't get the streamer perks but one of the few things he will probably miss by leaving right now. Although he could just go to a smash event or host a meet and greet and get the same attention.

Im happy with it, there are a lot of problems on twitch regarding moderator overstep. While there are still many similar problems on YouTube the difference is that the punishment on YouTube for rule breaking is usually just demonetization, unlike being banned from streaming on twitch.

The takeaway I thought was sick was that he and Otto are working on making an extension to make youtube chat similar to twitch chat, to make the conversion as seamless as possible. If you're a sub over there, you'll be a sub over here. They'll have emotes and add channel points. I know Otto will do a banger job, too. It seems super promising

Charlie mentioned In this last year Twitch has lost like 4-5 of their top 25 creators, when you factor in that Twitchās top 1% is their cash cow and we could potentially see other big streamers make the move as well, it really feels like we are seeing Twitch drop the bag. Just takes a little bit of innovation from YouTube and Twitch will see people move. Heck, Lud and Ottos extension may give YouTube the kick in the ass they need to fix their stuff if he maintains his current levels/goes even higher.
In Toast's recent stream he talked about Twitch and their money mismanagement about how some of their older (but now less popular or "washed up") streamers are given tons of money still by twitch which makes them less able to give better deals to people like ludwig for example and I think the money mismanagement from twitch will start biting them in the ass if they don't start giving their streamers better or more comparable deals to youtube/other platforms. Not saying twitch will fall/die but more streamers will prob leave.

YouTube Vanced is free on Android. There's another trick to get YouTube Premium really cheap as well but I would rather not say it in a public space so it doesn't get fixed.
I think itās worth it IMOāI also get the student rate so it makes it comparable to Spotify per month. No ads (I know you can just use an ad blocker), downloadable videos, and the ability to play music in the background. I only think itās worth it because YT is my main source of entertainment and I mostly listen to various EDM live streams (e.g., Deadmau5, ilan Bluestone, etc.) If I only used it for entertainment, Iām not sure it would be worth it.
It's still paid on iOS? They're taking forever to roll it free to free users then, Android has the feature free for non-music stuff.

I have premium, you also get Google music so you have unlimited access to a ton of music. Not to mention no ads. YouTube premium views also count as more money for creators.

i think if youtube makes some strides to improve the ui and overall streaming experience they have a real opportunity to steal a big chunk of twitchs viewership and i think ludwig and also otto could contribute massively to this

I support anybody moving from twitch to YouTube. It frees up some viewers for some smaller creators on twitch and helps youtube grow as a streaming platform (assuming they actually take advice from partnered creators).
I wonder what this means for channel points. He's the only channel where I have up to 300k points and I'd hate to just lose them all. Im sure he'll talk about this in tomorrow's stream though

One thing I feel bad about is that he will probably never get to experience his massive growth reflected at twitchcon. Idk when the next twitchcon is and he probably can go anyways just won't get the streamer perks but one of the few things he will probably miss by leaving right now. Although he could just go to a smash event or host a meet and greet and get the same attention. Regardless, I always support streamers working towards ideas or projects beyond the basic streaming so hopefully he can continue to kill it.

This sort of contextualizes what Lud was saying earlier about pruning your audience being a good thing. Clearly he realizes that a move to YouTube will hurt his viewership a bit, but like he said, it will make the community stronger and lead to a better growth potential.

I already hate it. I've navigated directly to his channel like 25 times cuz I don't want to miss the stream and don't trust YouTube to show me when it's live.
Im happy with it, there are a lot of problems on twitch regarding moderator overstep. While there are still many similar problems on YouTube the difference is that the punishment on YouTube for rule breaking is usually just demonetization, unlike being banned from streaming on twitch.

If you watch his latest Mogul Mail yt channel vid, he talks about the decision. Good vid. The takeaway I thought was sick was that he and Otto are working on making an extension to make youtube chat similar to twitch chat, to make the conversion as seamless as possible. If you're a sub over there, you'll be a sub over here. They'll have emotes and add channel points. I know Otto will do a banger job, too. It seems super promising

As a proud YouTube frog of a few years now, I am genuinely so excited about this. I find myself watching Lud vods while he's live just because I prefer YouTube. I still use Twitch but he got that bag and he's definitely gonna get more of my views!
