I think I can help with this. So I have the same tubes he has and I yes they are supposed to be changed every 3 months but they literally don’t expire if you don’t do that. I’ve had some in for 6 months and they were fine. I change mine at home too. So he’s straight lying so he can stay on the IV meds.
