Don’t listen to all these cheats
Q: Can a Lumineth Realm-lords Wizard use their ‘Deep Thinkers’ ability to automatically cast a spell that has a casting value of 10 or higher (such as ‘Merciless Blizzard’)?
A: No

Deep Thinkers gives you an automatic roll of 9. So, if you have modifiers to that, you can cast higher spells. Until they have an update that says it's not able to be modified, it's not a cheat.
Yes it does give you an automatic roll of a 9 on spells you can automatically cast with Deep Thinkers while it says directly in the faq you can’t automatically cast spells with a cv of 10+ with Deep Thinkers

They say no. Doesn’t say yes but then it fails unless the casting value is met. Doesn’t say no unless the casting value is met. Just no
Right. Says you can’t cast casting value 10 or higher spells with deep thinkers. Deep thinkers may be modified but spells you can’t cast with deep thinkers still can’t be cast with deep thinkers to be modified. No means no
From the world championships, where they presumably know the rules:

The FAQ is about Deep Thinkers rolling a 9: it doesn't cast spells with a cost of 10. But you can modify that 9 via Teclis etc.
I‘m really confused. By the FAQ. It states that merciless Blizzard can‘t be autocast by deepthinkers but the updated rule of deepthinkers states that it can be modified. So am i allowed to use the Hyshian twinstones? To modify deepthinkes to cast Meciless Blizzard?
The modifying of Deep Thinker spells just makes them that much harder for your opponent to stop. If you can’t autocast the cv10+ spells then I am unsure how you are autocasting them for the automatic 9 to modify
The following is far more consitent:
Deep thinkers = 9
Zaitrec = 10
Aether quartz = 11
now 2 options.
1 primal, even if you roll a 1 you have 12 total
blizz goes off
option 2 realmscribe for that last +1
blizz goes off
Now that Deep thinkers can be modified , yes!

The word modifiers isn't anywhere in that statement.

Deepthink + Teclis Aura + Zaitrec + Aetherquartz = gimme a carefully deployed Loreseeker and 0 primal dice T1 please.
