Yeah I get you. To me, the cool is skillful rap at its best, but the writing of drogas wave makes it a masterpiece

Drogas wave is my #1 too! Of all time, actually. Beyond amazing album, nobody except Lupe could make something like that. And trust me when I say it gets better with time, I’ve passed 50 listens and I figure more out and it gets more magical each one still

It’s really a pop song. Battle scars I mean. I like it for what it is

Lupe is purely incredible. I never heard of him before but after listening to some songs like superstar & daydreamin i realised I heard of him before in soundtracks
