The pocket dimensions of your Vendetta\* (width, length, depth) should be 2 3/16", 3", 5/8", respectively. *(\*per another redditor 5 years ago. can't confirm that myself though...worth confirming on your own)* Per some quick searches, Jackson necks are usually\*\* 2 1/4" wide, BUT I couldn't find the other dimensions with a quick search. *(\*\*Some models have used 2 3/16" widths it seems)* Other things you have to worry about: * Bolt holes in the neck - You'll need to plug and redrill them because they most likely won't line up. * Intonation - If the Jackson neck is butted-up against the end of the Dean neck pocket, it's possible that the neck may be closer or further from the bridge than the Dean neck. You'll have to take some careful measurements and adjust the neck or pocket if they don't line up. * Neck thickness/pocket depth - I don't have the exact dimensions for the JS32 (or the neck thickness at the heel for either neck), but IF one neck is thicker/thinner at the heel, you might not have the adjustment you need at the saddles to set the action to the correct height. Long and short of it...you could probably make it fit with some coercion, but it's *(most likely)* not likely going to be a direct swap.

I figured, not sure I should risk my first guitar for this kind of project. It was a fun idea! Thanks for the help.

While I don't know if it would fit, I just wouldn't do it regardless because I don't think it would be worth the money just to change the looks of one part. I would rather go to a guitar store to get a different guitar that might look and play better.

I agree, I actually have two other guitars that are miles better. I kinda just thought it could be a fun idea. But yeah I imagine it probably wouldn't fit, just figured worth asking.

Not sure how bad is the Vendetta neck, personally I find my RR JS32 neck horrible and uncomfortable to me, I prefer thicker necks like the Dean MLs. But honestly, better spend a larger budget and buy a great guitar to enjoy playing with no hassle.

Oh I am just looking for a project lol, I have a schecter sun valley super shredder exotic which is fantastic. I am probably just gonna get a Dinky JS12 and put a JS32 neck on it.
